I'm finally going to Asia this summer, so excited

The Vatican

Thank you for the reminder. I didn't think to list it separately from Italy, but of course you are correct that Vatican City is an independent nation, and I have visited it.

Hehe, I also left out the Vatican, but his post also reminded me

I've visited, and lived in, London, which is an entire country in itself.
Had the same impression myself.:techman:

I'm from Romania and so far I've only traveled inside Europe, to:

Greece - warm people, great landscapes, spectacular sea, history galore.
Bulgaria - only for transit towards Greece.
Hungary - transit, and stopped in Budapest, beautiful city.
Austria - my number two favorite, straight As in pretty much everything. Oh, and I think Vienna is the most beautiful European capital, at least from the ones I've seen.
Germany - my number one favorite. Lived in Freiburg for 5 months, as part of a university exchange program.
France - charming country, nice people, Paris is wonderful, of course.
Italy - very Latin, great roads.
Switzerland - interesting, but I prefer Germany.
U.K., or should I say London? I loved London, and I can't wait to return.

Itching to go to:
The U.S.
Japan
New Zealand

Business travel has been very good to me but the USA is home. In addition to setting foot (not just an airport) in all 50 states, I've been to 23 countries.

That's quite impressive. I've only been to 14 of my country's 16 states myself, and it's much smaller than the USA. I don't see it changing anytime soon, either.
My next travel plans are going to London and possibly Liverpool and getting to know Poland better (I've only really been there recently and was quite impressed with the people and the country itself). I don't live too far off the border, actually (about 100 km) and there are some cheap train ticket offers available but somehow, I haven't used that advantage, yet.

I'm not aware that there is something outside Paris. Actually, I don't know who or what you are and you're all speaking a weird language...

US citizen, born and raised. I have barely done enough travel within the States, but I have managed to visit Canada, England and Turks & Caicos. I'd like to do some more international travel at some point.

US (24 states), Scotland, and a day in Montreal.

I have a trip to Alberta planned, and if my friend Kevin gets a Fulbright to study in St. Petersburg, I may go visit him.

US (including USVI, Alaska, and Hawaii), Canada, Switzerland, Belgium, France, Hungary, Austria, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, United Arab Emirates, and Singapore.

Airport only:
Japan
Kuwait

In a couple of months I will add England and Greece to the list. A couple months after that, Thailand and India.

From the US (been to entire east coast, Minnesota, Arizona), I've also been to Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Bahamas, France, the UK, Italy, and the Vatican. I had a couple layovers in Frankfurt, but I never actually stepped outside.

Well, if you're counting states, I was in Los Angeles in 2008. But that doesn't really count, cause my plane touched down on LAX around 8AM and i was on a plane back home at 10PM the same day. Quite frankly, I couldn't wait to get the hell out of there.
Also, I was in Atlanta and San Francisco in 2010. That time I stayed for a few days.
