I'd love to contribute more to the fleet, but honestly I don't know what I'd be the most useful as. I'm open to suggestions for a good way to pitch in.

Ok, so, between two characters I've just added this to the fed fleet bank:

    Katrin
    3 X Unidentified Substance
    5 X Exobiological Data
    6 X Mineral Sample
    1 X Radiation Sample
    9 X Alien Artifact
    6 X Photonic Technology
    5 X Technical Schematic
    2 X Chronometric Wave Signature
    3 X Genetic Sequencer
    3 X DNA Sequence
    9 X Plasma Sample
    59 X Biological Sample
    2 X Methogenic Particle
    6 X Tetryon Particle
    7 X Encoded Data
    41 X Unknown Alloy
    31 X Antimatter Sample

    Roel
    22 X Methogenic Particle
    3 X Exobiological Data
    1 X Duderon Particle Trace
    12 X Plasma Sample
    13 X Encoded Data
    1 X Unknown Alloy
    1 X Antimatter Sample
    11 X Genetic Sequencer
    1 X Tachyon Wave Signature
    1 X Antithoron Particle Trace
    1 X Trianium Particle Trace
    12 X Alien Artifact
    25 X DNA Sequence
    20 X Biological Sample
    10 X Tetryon Particle
    1 X Photonic Technology
    2 X Chronometric Particle Trace
    6 X Radiation Sample

I'd like to have access to it myself as well, but it's not important. I just like to hand over whatever I can for fleet use, I do the same thing in WOW.

    You have... promoted you.
Although not for sumping stuff into the bank, that is not a requirement, but because you are a regular board member here and had your fleet grace period.

You are now the rank of officer, the appropriate rank for full fleet members with seniority indicated by admiral level in the game.

Oh, that's fine. I wasn't asking to be promoted just for dumping stuff in the bank, since looking at what's in the fleet bank what I put there is a mere drop in the bucket. But thank you.

As I said... it`s not for dumping stuff anywhere. You were due anyway.

Ok, I got a couple questions.

    1) Does anyone know if Silver accounts can make a fleet? (Not me, another group)

    And

    2) Would you guys like another fleet to work with after the F2P launch?

I'm a member of a fan group, the USS Blackheart. You may have seen their name over at Memory Alpha, as we sponsor them. Anyway, many of them are quite excited for the F2P launch, and from what I know of Emmett, he's going to want to start his own fleet for the Blackheart. I figure I might take one of my characters over there, but I still want to stay with you guys.

Oh, and most of these guys (though we do have a couple of lifers) are going to be brand new. So it'd probably be a while before they could participate in STFs depending on how fast they play, but I thought I'd throw the idea out there now so the high and mighty's in the fleet could think about it.

To answer you first question, I believe silvers can be part of the initial 5 man team that is needed to found the fleet, but the actual creator must be gold.

Well, there's at least one lifer in the group, so we can probably manage that. Thanks for the info.

As far as Fleet jobs, willing to sign up for a spot, not sure which area to volunteer for, though. Offering services as a rover, I guess. Mission/advancement help, extra guy on STFs, and more importantly, EST-timezone rep for all of those things, plus bank teller. We've gotten in the spot in the past where most of the fleet officers have been European-timezone guys, so might be worthwhile to make sure we space that out a little, just so the US guys have someone around occasionally.

^ Glad there's somebody else in the same boat as me. I wanna pitch in more, just not really sure what the best way would be.

Yep, I figure 'rover' is about the best title for what I could do. Not a PvP'er, don't quite have enough crafting experience, but around enough and willing to help with STFs, people doing missions, and can offer another time zone for someone to be available to help with the bank, which is something we've been lacking.

I guess that's about what I'd be in for. Aid with missions, do crafting, STF, maybe try to plan events when we have new members join the fleet, that might work better for me. Seems like my time in the game doesn't mesh as well with the rest of the fleet. I think the most members I've ever seen online at the same time as me has been 3. Usually it's one or none.

Speaking of fleet jobs, who's running the KDF fleet? It seems (the bank especially) under developed. I was thinking about this just now because I just finished the Romulan missions, and have to get from 41 to 46 before I can go on with the Deferi missions, so I'll probably be doing a lot of exploration and dailies. I figure while I do that, I can add stuff to the fleet bank, data samples and what have you. But I'd like to be able to organize it while I'm doing it.

We have about 3 active members in the House of TrekBBS and of those only one seems to play KDF these days. So no one really. There was never enough interest of regular members for the ither faction.

So in regards to adding stuff to the bank and organizing it, probably not worth the time? Which is fine, was just thinking it'd give me something to do while I'm working my way up to 46.

If you need help or someone to help speed up the missions, just give me a shout. I've been playing my KDF (Grothoks) a lot this past week or so.

Oh it's not that, although I might take you up on that offer. I dont mind doing the various dailies, I was just thinking if I could put the data samples into the fleet bank it could help others out too. But if no one really plays on that side, or is going to use it, then I'll just stick it in my own bank.

Not sure when I'll be on the KDF side again, tomorrows the F2P launch, so I'll probably be spending the next couple days or so helping the Blackheart get started with the game.

Ok, so I did some work on the bank, although not much since we only have the one tab for now. I know you guys said the KDF fleet isn't used much, but I figure that might change after tomorrow, so why not get started on it.

Unfortunately, right in the middle of crafting some schematics to put in the bank, my internet dropped and now the account server keeps timing out. oi... Anyway, I'll get the schematics and data samples back in there once I can get in again.

Edit: From the launcher - Holodeck is down for emergency maintenance. We are currently addressing the issue.

Guess thats why I can't get back in. I wonder what happened.

I don't think it was you. Holodeck Server just went down without warning. Their website now says it's emergency maintenance. Really worried about the Free to play launch now. Things like this make it doubtful that they're properly prepared for it.
