No thread found here so off we go.

I've just received the Limited Edition of it (was only 1,5 Euro more expensive than the regular on Amazon.. go figure) for my Xbox 360 and from the look of it'll take about an hour of installing and updating before i get to play!

Have played the heck out of Modern Warfare 3 and like it even though i'm a mediocre player at best (but improving ever so slowly) so i'm curious how BF3 holds up against MW3.

Any hints, tips and sites i should know about?

I really enjoyed this game and I hope you do to. When you get to the tank level use the terrain as best you can and keep moving when you come into contact with the enemy tanks.

The campaign, sucks. I've only played the first level, but the multiplayer is amazing. Much, much better than COD.

best advice I can give is don't be a K/D hog, don't set up shop with a sniper rifle and camp, and don't spend all your time just trying to get kills. You won't be doing your team any favours - try to go for the objectives, revive fallen teammates, resupply them and that kinda thing, it doesn't matter if you finish a round without a kill at the end of the day.

^ This.

The entire point of the BF series is teamwork. If you want an arcade shooter, buy COD or CS.

Join a squad, talk to your squadmates, get a strategy going. That's literally the best advice. Don't lonewolf and don't take it personally when you die.
