Alexander, Worf's son-- they resented each other, kind of made up,and last we saw, he was in the Klingon military, and that was that.
On the flipside, by keep on resolving every single Borg issue out there plus creating new ones to add to every single nuance to a greater mystery that didn't even need to be resolved in the first place to keep audience attention by spacing it out more over the years...

It's not just the Borg, ST felt the need to tame or humanize virtually every alien species. The Ferengi adopt equal rights for women, well OK, but was it just another case of oppression? In other words, were the Ferengi just human beings with different facial features? (GR didn't think so!)cl Did some Ferengi women lose out because of the new ethics? That might be a good story.

I don't see how they could have. Prior to this, Ferengi females had absolutely no rights whatsoever. They were pretty much slaves in Ferengi society. Indeed, they were worse than that - they were literally considered *property* of their mates. (Like the bit in Soylent Green about the 'furniture.') You can't get much worse than that, except maybe death...
Btw, all these continuity issues are all part of Future Guy's sinister plan.

They could, if Ferengi are essentially different from humans. Another example: does the Vulcan brain differ so that it's easier for them to suppress emotions? If not, then it seems like Spock (Sarek, etc.) is just a neurotic with pointy ears.
I liked the bad guys from a VOY episode called dragons teeth we never some them again pity it would have been a great storyline maybe a 2 part episode seeing them trying to get revenge on the voyager crew. ???
Yes, the Vulcan brain is physically different; I don't know if it makes suppression of emotions any easier.
All I do know is what I learned from "Flashback," in that the Vulcan brain is different enough that a repressed memory can actually cause physical damage.
