Which Starship name would you choose?

Richard Bolitho's Hyperion or another one? Just curious.
I would choose Yorktown. I have no idea why.
Or course I have to go with the U.S.S. Exeter myself,... but you knew that already.
I always rather liked The Victory which is not on the list but still a worthy name for a starship, don't you think? I at least used the name in several RPGs in the mid 90s.

Nice pick! I always liked that one myself too,.. I wonder why more people are not responsive to the name USS HOOD?
I was going to say that! I'd choose any "historical" name from the ancient times of the original NASA shuttles. I also like Atlantis and Endeavor.
I believe I already claimed her.

No disputing the professionalism or heroism of her crew, but nasty questions keep coming up about her design deficiencies and the leadership who, despite knowing about those problems, ordered her into battle regardless..

If you mean the Enterprise A? Given the major systems problems that she was having immediately after Kirk was given command of her, I don't know if that means she was a brand new ship that was experiencing teething difficulties, or a refit of a older ship (Yorktown?) from a Connie into a Connie Plus that went wrong.
