Men in Black III Trailer

Will Smith is a freak of nature looking virtually identical to how he did in the first film fourteen years ago. I know 'black don't crack' and all that but this is taking the piss quite frankly.
He and Keanu Reeves are obviously immortals.

He has to have been enhanced via CGI. I have seen his recent work and he does look his age.

But I am really excited about this movie. I love lighthearted entertaining movies and time travel stories in particular and since this has both I think the fun will be doubled. :bolian:

I wonder if Tommy Lee Jones is featured heavily in this or just a little?

It would be cool to see Tony Shalub reprise his role, but I doubt it. Also, it looks lik Rip Torn is gone.

The trailer looks good though, hopefully this one will be better than the second one, which wasn't horrible, but it wasn't that good either.

Is Rip Torn still acting? i remember hearing that he had been arrested a couple of years ago for trying to rob a bank while he was drunk. I hope he got some help...he is quite an entertaining actor and it would be good to see him working again.

IMDb and Wikipedia (not always reliable) do mention that Torn is in the movie. But I have not heard anything confirming this.

Better living through Scientology.. Gotta be..

See also: Tom Cruise and John Travolta (who, even when pictured non-toupe still looks pretty much like he did 10 years ago)... Of course the theory falls flat when you look at Kirstie Alley..

Just saw the trailer. For some reason I thought it was going to be a new duo, so I was happy to see Smith and Jones back together. Insert "hate 3-D, they won't show this in 2-D in my city, so will wait for the Blu-ray" boilerplate here. Maybe that both with Will jumping will cause mass :barf: attacks in 3-D theaters. That might be amusing.

Alex

PS. That's not the smiley I was expecting - but I'll take it! I like the fact that it doesn't stop!

I am thankful that my local theater still shows 2-D also.

I wish 3-D would just die already!

I'm meh on the 3D thing buts that probably becuase my local theater has one theater in 3D and the rest are 2D so seeing the 2D version isn't that hard.

I wonder if Tommy Lee Jones is featured heavily in this or just a little?

Jones was extremely vocal about how much he absolutely hated making Men in Black II, and while Will Smith was always up for the third one, Jones ultimately decided that he'd only do it if his screentime was reduced significantly -- which necessitated the time travel plot.

This trailer was mildly amusing, I suppose, but given the absolutely chaotic nature of the film's production (for those who don't remember, it was rewritten from the ground up at least once, and later filming was shut down for three months to rewrite half the damned thing again), I'm definitely going to wait and see what the word of mouth is before I drop $20 on tickets.

Just watched MIB 2 this morning and he does not look like he is having any fun in that movie.

There is a good movie in there but it was buried under a lot of crap.

Are you sure that wasn't just his usual demeanor shining through? lol

I do remember a interview on the red carpet where he was game for another Men In Black.

He flat out said he needed work.
