Pah-Wraith Voice effect from "The Reckoning" in Audacity?

I'm wondering how I can duplicate the Pah-Wraith voice effect from "The Reckoning" in Audacity, because I think it sounds awesome. I've searched on google and haven't found anything.

Its a sort of metallic distortion I suppose. Does anybody know if the DS9 Companion mentions anything?

The sound effects in the Star Trek spinoffs never seem to get any notable mention, despite being very well done. Some of my favorites include the sound of the wormhole, cloaking devices and the Jem'Hadar transporter.

Does anyone know how they did the Breen "voices"?
