Ah, I was wondering if something like that would happen. I'm surprised Finney will be returning considering his character was arrested at the end of the last film.

^ I couldn't remember if he got arrested or killed. But either way, I'm guessing he too trained/ brainwashed Renner's character and we'll see flashbacks to that, as well as possibly him being interrogated in prison.

My character is called Aaron Cross," Renner said, "but he ends up having a bunch of different names. For fans of the franchise, [The Bourne Legacy] has that same ticking clock, but it's a new program and new characters."

Asked if the Treadstone program from the Jason Bourne books and movies is still involved, Renner added, "Yeah, it's that same deal, it's just a new set of agents with a different leash. It's the same tempo and pace but more expansive and bigger. The differences are pretty vast but you'll know it's a Bourne movie."

Maybe Howard will use some of Powells music when writing the score. It could be fun again to have the "Extreme Ways" by Moby playing during the end credits..it sort of belongs there.
