The Walking Dead Season 2 Discussion *Spoilers*

I seem to have missed your point. The thread title clearly says discussion and I'm saying my part of the discussion. You can disagree with me, which you clearly do, but to not attack my point, but attack my ability to make is isn't a counter point.

That wasn't my point. And again...moving on.

Be interesting to see if those AICN spoilers are real tonight.

They were.

Guess it shows you shouldn't fire people with AICN accounts from your show. ;)

Though now I'm worried about the AICN spoiler's comment about
not getting too attached to Daryl.

I'm really curious as to what your point was. Seriously.

So am I 'cause he's not making any sense.

I haven't gotten the chance to see tonight's yet but I've already heard the spoilers. I'm interested to watch it as it sounds like a step up from what we've been getting.

Good, I'm glad I'm not going crazy.

Anywho, as much as I don't like the direction they're going in, the episode as a whole was pretty good. A pretty intense hour of television, which is a great change of pace from the last five episodes (the opener was pretty good).

WOW. Well, we certainly got resolution on Sophia, then....

Damn, that was sad. And I think it's pretty clear to everyone now that Shane is definitely taking a ride on the Crazy Train. I have a feeling that Dale's days are numbered, as well.

I do hope they don't kill Daryl off anytime too soon. I find the whole Carol/Daryl dynamic really interesting.

Well....
the same AICN poster/former TWD production employee who spoiled this ep [complete with screen caps of zombie Sophia] also wrote "don't get too attached to Daryl" so I wouldn't hold out a lot of hope

I also read a spoiler that says
Carol lets herself get bitten by a zombie, which happened in the comics.

Man, if all these spoilers are true
they're killing off cast members left and right. Pretty soon it's going to be Rick, Laurie, Shane, Carl, Tdog, Dale Andrea and Glenn. Kill off the kid and its almost "Gilligans' Apocalypse" at that point
.

I thought that Herschel was keeping her a secret but according to The Talking Dead, Otis snared her, put her in the barn and got killed before any discussion about a missing girl could take place.

From the "Talking Dead" dedication....

"Well, at least they finally found her..."

i just about did a spit take on that.. LOL...

I'm not all the way through the comic yet, but I know that the only originals left alive are Rick, Carl, Sophia, Glenn and Andrea

Given that a comic book characters don't have to age, but actors do, I wonder how the producers plan to deal with Carl. If the show is supposed to have taken place over the space of a few weeks (to date) since Rick woke up, but it takes "x" years to film all the episodes, they're either going to have to recast him or write him off.

That was part of why Walt was written off "Lost" as I recall.

I thought that it was a very strong finish to what was a rather slow first half of the season.

It's interesting how much of Rick's personality in the comics is getting transferred to Shane in the TV series.
