Quinto fans, check out tonights' American Horror Story. He's having gay sex dressed in a black rubber gimp suit!

He will be in a movie that I will go see. His responsibilty to me (and you) is to give his best performance, not make seek my approval on his dating choices.
At the same time, he came out so that he can stand up for those that need someone to stand up for them. He came out because no person should be tormented to the point that they want to take their own life.
His reasons were selfless. It is difficult for me to understand how that does not deserve a certain amount of respect, regardless of one's opinions about "lifestyle choices" and such.

Seriously, anyone who honestly wastes a second worrying about the sexuality of a person they're never going to meet anyway is in dire need of therapy.
