The Secret Circle "Slither" Official Description Tonight at 9PM EDT!

CASSIE IS TORN BETWEEN HER FAMILY AND THE CIRCLE --- Torn between her loyalties to the Circle and her family, Cassie (Britt Robertson) wrestles with the secrets she must keep from her grandmother (Ashley Crow). Nick (Louis Hunter) is thrown for a loop when Melissa (Jessica Parker Kennedy) adopts a new attitude and enlists his help to track down her family's Book of Shadows. Faye (Phoebe Tonkin) is also recruited but isn't happy about being the third wheel. Meanwhile, Diana (Shelley Hennig) is craving some alone time with Adam (Thomas Dekker) and arranges a date night so they can rekindle the spark in their relationship, but all six of them are brought together to fight off a dark force that threatens to destroy the Circle from within. Completely unaware of the new danger encroaching on their children, Dawn (Natasha Henstridge) joins Charles (Gale Harold) aboard his boat to further their plans for the Circle, but is surprised to find that Charles may have more than business on his mind. Liz Friedlander directed the episode written by Dana Baratta (#105).

Poor Nick. :( This whole thing with demons is interesting and next week looks even more so...Cassie coming clean with Grandma was something I was hoping for...dragging it out would be ridiculous given all the stuff that has been going on.
 
I'm really surprised about Nick. Do you think it will stick? I wonder why the grandma didn't use the crystal the way the other Faye's mom did after the accident with Cassie's friend. Maybe Cassie's grandma is EVIL.
 
They have a new male character coming in...so I am sure it will...given that they shot new cast photos with him.

FAYE PLOTS HER REVENGE WHEN AN EX-BOYFRIEND RETURNS TO CHANCE HARBOR --- When Jake (guest star Chris Zylka), a mysterious young man, shows up in Chance Harbor, he learns a lot has changed since his last visit. For one, the girl he left behind, Faye (Phoebe Tonkin) has discovered she's a witch and has plans to get even with the handsome guy who broke her heart. To complicate things further, he sets his sights on the alluring Cassie (Britt Robertson), much to Adam (Thomas Dekker) and Faye's dismay. Guy Bee directed the episode written by Andrea Newman (#106).

Tonight was an interesting ep...a bit all over the place. Nick's bro Jake is a witch who wants to avenge his family's deaths...so he is helping hunt them? Ugh. Diana & Adam break up was coming but I bet they will have them back together and all the angst with Cassie thrown in. :lol: Cassie's grandma is a badass hopefully they keep her around...I really like the character...and our dear Cassie has her crystal now. Faye's mom and Diana's dad are starting to turn into really horrible one dimensional villains...hope they can correct this. Faye is boring me now and Melissa is meh...they need to spice up these characters a bit.

okay now we have witch hunters and demons awesome I love this new show. I know faye acts like a grade a bitch but she's so hot that she can pull it off and I'll for give for just about anything...

I feel for diana and adam damn shame about that.
 
The demon thing is interesting but I am not sure how I feel about witch hunters this early in the series...hope they go somewhere cool with it but right now I am skeptical.
 
I am so loving this show and were not even to the half way point.looking forward to next week.

Meanwhile, some dangerous, uninvited guests set their sights on the Circle. Charles Beeson directed the episode written by Michelle Lovretta (#107).

Of course they will! So if Jake can perform magic on his own, does that suggest that he has dark magic too? And that his motivation to wipe out the witches is to eliminate his competition?

And The Hollows wasn't "picked up" it is in development (Link). Why are you mentioning it here? This thread is for TSC...which the book series was written by LJ Smith...The Hollows is written by Kim Harrison which you already created a thread for. This thread is to discuss eps of The Secret Circle.

A ROAD TRIP FOR THE CIRCLE TAKES A HORRIBLE TURN --- After not hearing from her grandmother (Ashley Crow) for a couple of days, Cassie (Britt Robertson) becomes concerned and wants to go look for her. Diana (Shelley Hennig) decides the entire Circle should go in case Jane is in trouble. She also invites Jake (guest star Chris Zylka) along, much to Adam's (Thomas Dekker) dismay. A storm turns the day trip into an overnight excursion, so Faye suggests a little game of Truth or Dare to liven up the evening. However, things take a horrible turn when Faye is forced to reckon with someone from her past. John Fawcett directed the episode written by Don Whitehead & Holly Henderson (#108).

I hope Faye doesn't wear anything as distracting as the outfit she wore at the shop in the beginning of last week's episode. I had to go to imdb afterwards and look at her age to make myself feel less guilty. It was like a dishrag lightly draped over her breasts. And I'm supposed to be listening to the dialogue?

Tonight's ep was good...Charles seem like he may have a demon in him...not sure about it yet...but he isn't on the same page as Dawn now. Cassie & Jane trying to figure out what happened to Jane will be interesting. Don't like Jake at all. :p

Faye is indeed looking hotter and hotter. I don't remember what she wore last week, but those tight pants this week? Yow! I also have to note that she didn't freak out enough when the bath water turned to muddy water and weeds. But then again, I suppose they couldn't have her leaping up and running out of the house naked.
