Hi. It's based 100% on the Keaton car, but it order to keep mine road legal using existing lighting, a few modifications have been made.

I did have large wheels and tires donated, but they are for show only and not driving as the weight of my modifications have lowered the car enough that they cannot be used.

AND every single 2 inch screw that is in the Batmobile was in my Shuttlecraft and will live there forever. Its amazing how much that shuttle has gave itself towards other projects.

OH, and the car is as big as it physically can be so it can be removed from the lawn and still fitting between the fence posts. At 6.5 feet wide and 19.5 feet long, it aint tiny.

Excellent work! What material are you using to span across the engine compartment?

It's a piece of sheet steel we hand-formed. It was quite the...pain in the buttocks.

    Looking good! :techman:

I've been really enjoying this thread over the last few years. May I suggest a Harry Potter theme next year? Or a Star Wars theme. An Imperial Walker would look pretty cool in your front yard!

To the Batcave! 2 guys in a tent in the yard, not much light, no heat and minimal amount of tools. She's not perfect, but she's a beast!

Of course! Nothing from the car has been removed, just moved forward where needed.

Cool. The Batmobile looks great by itself but it definitely steps up a notch with an honest-to-god Batman standing next to it.
