Dessert is for the tasty after dinner treat.

Desert is either for the dry climate or the just rewards of behavior.

It gets confusing because dessert is pronounced the same as desert when referring to "just deserts" but not when referring to the place where camels dwell.

LOL It wasn't really a pronunciation thing so much as... it seemed more like a food insult then one about a sandy place. XD

You know like... you can't have your cake and eat it or... something... not really getting desert due to badness?
