Does anyone remember what Harry's Law numbers were like on Monday night? Apparently they were better than what they are now because it did get renewed afterall. Maybe they need to plug it back in there since the Playboy Club is dead.
Without digging up Jax's old threads, I seem to remember Harry's Law holding its own against Castle and Hawaii Five-0, and certainly doing better than it has against Modern Family. I think your idea about moving it back to its old timeslot is sound.

As for the poll, I voted A Gifted Man, though Pan Am is equally likely to get the axe. The difference is I like Pan Am, whereas I've tried to like A Gifted Man and just can't get into it. Certainly not for a lack of trying; I like Patrick Wilson as an actor, and I've had a crush on Jennifer Ehle since Pride and Prejudice 15 years ago. ;)

Harry was up against reruns of 5-0 when it became the surprise hit. I never watched Castle so I don't know what they were showing

It's beginning to look like Unforgettable has entered the race for cancellation. It and A Gifted Man may not make it past 13 episodes.

Same here -- I've watched an episode and a half and I just can't muster up the desire to watch any more of it even though I like Patrick Wilson. It just seems...boring.

Well I was about to ask at what point do networks like ABC & NBC reach "critical mass" where they can't cancel something because they simply don't have something to plug in it's place.

It doesn't take much to put together a news magazine program or plug in a rerun. Or worse than either, another new reality show no one cares about.

I wasn't too many years ago that Dateline NBC was on 3 or 4 nights a week, and it was all much more interesting than Harry's Law.

I can't stand the corny "Parenthood!" My wife was hooked on it, but now watches "Body of Proof" with me. NBC was going to kill that stupid show, but kept it because they know it will pull a certain rating. If only.....

Even though it's not listed, that new show that Tim Allen's in, Last Man Standing (ABC)... isn't that good from what I've seen of it. I was hoping that it would be good, but so far all I've run into are endless laugh tracks, some bad dialogue and that kind of thing.

It doesn't look like it'll be on the air for that long, unless they change up things a little. Less laugh track would do wonders ;). Don't need to have someone tell me when to laugh.

I remember reading that the producer of Psych was furious about how mentalist was ripping them off. So is it better or worse that Unforgettable is so horrible a do-over, a minus one dimension of Psych?

Seriously? How can the actress be making it seem that she's so smart but at the same time an idiot for figuring things out so slowly during those remembering revelation moments?

It's getting great ratings for ABC, though.

It was also a completely different show when it started. It's been retooled as Generic David E. Kelley Law Show now.

EVERY David E. Kelley show eventually gets retooled into Generic David E. Kelley Law Show. Hell, he even brought in lawyers to "Chicago Hope" and "Picket Fences" during THEIR runs.

I burned out on Psych a long time ago. Bringing in an overweight, weezing Cybil Shepard (what the hell happened to her....she was hot into the 2000s?) to play the main character's mom didn't make me want to watch. It became formula, the same old thing and the main character started packing on the pounds, too.

Yes, you could say The Mentalist ripped off The Psych premise, but I think it's 1,000 times more entertaining and riveting. They are actually after the serial killer who killed the main character's wife and son. He's a REFORMED con man who has mended his ways. I find that very interesting. Shaun of Psych is the same old, goofy, no-growth adolescent week after week. Stale.
