The original was obviously from a "different time", but Fawcett, Smith & Jackson were completely gorgeous women.

The three from this remake looked like cute, but very generic looking girls. I didn't watch it, so don't know if they had any screen presence or acting ability.

They had the maid from My Name is Earl as one of the Angels.

So feaking hot

But she got killed off in minute three, her funeral was in minute four and minute 5 was when her bad ass best friend showed up to avenge her death with the help of the angels and eventually earn her slot on the team.

Seriously Whiteslavers do not courier single sexslaves in stretch limos.

It's a 100 sexslaves in a shipping container on the back of a truck after a boat ride form Russia and you're lucky if half of them haven't been eaten by the other half.

But that ain't sexy.

I saw the first one and it was definitely lacking some needed pizazz. They've been showing the classic reruns on one of the HD channels and it's actually rather bland but I think people imagine the show as more exotic. This one needed style cranked to 10.

Oh. I was under the impression that it premieres in January. No wonder it's cancelled. It aired and hardly anybody knew.

Just as well, I'm sure it could never hold a candle to the original anyhow. Everybody knows the best Angels were Jacklyn Smith, Cheryl Ladd, Tanya Roberts and Kate Jackson.

That would at least have made it worth watching for 5 minutes if I had known.

At least I can watch Earl whenever I want.

So far the only recent remake which seems rather good is Hawaii Five-0 and even their quality is dropping at an alarming rate.

The first two seasons included the exotic elements that people remember; after that it did indeed become pretty bland.

Sadly, this is why I rarely watch new shows during their first season.
If something turns out to be good, then I'll try to watch it on-line or DVD after the first season and catch up.

Not really surprised. I watched the pilot back in May, and knew then as I did with WW that it wouldn't last.

Sucks for the writers though (they're on the lot with us) and the crew of the show.

This show had terrible writing. These were the same writers that made Smallvillle so bad. Bad shows don't deserve to be rewarded. They deserved to be cancelled.
