I watch everything except:

1) x-factor <(sick of reality tv)
2) Greys anatomy <(never really liked it ER was better)
3) Private Practice

The Big Bang Theory is just the best comedy on tv right now.

NBC is really fucked with The Office being dead.

I don't think Andy being the Boss was the right choice. I know they moved Spader up to CEO because they lost Kathy Bates to Harry's Law--and it was a funny idea that it took him a day to become CEO--but, Spader's Robert California would have been... dangerous, new as the boss.

Right now, Andy feels like a blander Michael.

I enjoyed How to Be a gentleman I thought it pretty good.

that was dave nelson from news radio was'nt it?

yep THEY need to be on TBS. I love that show. the entire nbc line up on thursday is awesome and I am really enjoying prime suspect. the second episode was a mind blowing ending <(pun intended).

The Office is very safe with the demo of 3.4/9

How to Be a Gentleman is DOA and Charlie's Angels will be an early cancellation.
I saw HTBAG and it was bad, just bad.
CBS chose this instead of keeping Bleep My Dad Says, really?
Good call CBS.

Community deserves to be on a better network. :(
A better network would've cancelled it already.

I agree. My theory is that Andy is the boss cause Ed Helms is the next mainstream rising star out of the cast that can garner name recognition. Just my theory.

I'm sure it is. I don't know whether or not I'll stick with it. I'm a casual fan... so...

I think that is absolutely the truth, especially with the success of The Hangover.

It would have better ratings on a better network. Nobody wants to watch NBC anymore.

You think people aren't watching Community because it's on NBC? You seriously think that's why people aren't pushing a button to change the channel? You've got to be kidding me.

I love Community, but, it's not for everyone. It wouldn't become a huge hit on CBS. It would've been cancelled a LONG time ago.

Oh, I'm not that deluded, no. I don't think it would turn into a massive hit or anything if it were elsewhere, but I think the stigma of NBC hurts a lot of shows on that network. Of course, NBC's desperate enough right now that it's willing to renew shows with ratings that no other network (not including the CW) would consider acceptable, so...

NBC produce a ton of shit but they could have created American Idol and people would still not watch it, NBC has a big stigma at the moment.

Really? I find it hard to believe that people who don't follow the industry, who don't care about ratings, will NOT watch a show they might like because it's on NBC.

I hate to ask, but is there like a link? Or a study? Or is this all just supposition?

Like my mom watches TV. She couldn't tell you which network is Number 1, 2, 3, or 4... she's going to watch what she likes.

The perspective on this board I don't think represents most TV watching people...

New shows tend to be watched by people who already watch that network. They might see ads for new shows, and a lot of viewership comes from viewers who don't bother to change the channel of the show they already watch, and end up watching the new show right after it, by default.

If a network has low viewership, then the number of people who have any awareness at all of the network's new shows will be less and less, and a vicious cycle sets in.

Also, I can't remember the last time I saw a show on NBC that didn't suck. First season of Heroes, I guess.

Grimm
better be good. NBC pushed out the premiere out a week. I wonder if that has anything to do with a panic situation setting in?
