SmithW, I strongly recommend you go play Half-Life and Half-Life 2. They're absolute classics, both of them, still hold up well, and were very important to the development of the FPS genre.

I find the first Half-Life pretty bad actually. It may have been impressive in its day, but I just don't think it holds up without the nostalgia goggles. Of course, Half-Life 2 is all kinds of awesome.

Of the choices, I'd go with the Master Chief, because I think Halo is a pretty cool guy, etc.

Sadly, it appears my own personal choice hasn't been mentioned in this thread yet. What a shame.

So after a couple days it's tied between Shepard and Samus. How very interesting. Still puttin my money behind the N7 Marine, but thats me. Lets keep it going. We need some more options.

I think Shepard would win. But I wouldn't count Marcus Fenix out though, he certainly has the battle experience and the no fear attitude to get up close and personal with the enemy.

Well..... Looks like it's Commander Shepard for the win. With Samus coming in second, and Freeman in third. Gotta say these were not the results I expected.
