Miracle Ending

Yeah, I was pretty amazed when I read this yesterday morning. I wonder if the suspect's Mother begging him to return the boy helped with the decision.

I hope the tosser will have to knit himself a new arse after his lenghty stay at the local correctional establishment. Although, the prick gave the kid back so i suppose he's a bit better than the rest om 'em.

It's great that he's home and safe... but am I the only one who thinks something is fishy with this story? The father's reaction during that press conference? The fact that the kid just mysteriously appeared home at 3:00 a.m.--if my child was abducted from my home, I'd be pretty damn sure my doors would be locked at 3:00 a.m. three days later. Also, they knew who the suspect almos t immediately.

Perhaps I'm just jaded. But I can't help feel as though there's a big chunk of the story missing.

Anyway, I'm glad he's safe.

Didn't they say the house had been cordoned off and has been unoccupied since the abduction?

Maybe. That would make sense as to why it wasn't locked up. But was the house not under some kind of surveillance?

Yeah, that is a bit wierd. I guess you don't expect a sex offender to return his victim to the scene of the crime unharmed.

^If the house was unoccupied, why wasn't it locked at all? That doesn't make any sense.

Because a criminal can't pick the lock on an average house... God, I'm far from a burglar. But I can do it with a hand tied behind my back. Its not that bloody hard.

Sex offender? There's nothing in the article about a sex offense. It was a kidnapping. With a happy ending, thank God.

Yeah, I just saw that on CTV but I didn't want to double post to bump the thread. It'll be ineteresting to find out exactly what happened.

Re: Deleting a Post

@Captain Ice I was unable to locate an ideal place here to direct my question but I did notice that you were one of the moderators and so I thought to simply post on your latest thread.

I put up a post a while ago that is now dated and would like to delete but there is no Edit button. How can I get assistance with deleted it as well as this one after the issue is solved. : )

Thanks,
A Golden Ticket

^No problem. It's been a pretty big story here in Canada so I just assumed people knew the details.
