First up, thanks for all the votes in the road trip contest, folks!

Movin' on, here's the new contest...

Heaven & Hell - pretty self-explanatory, right? Talkin' depictions of the locations in media & stuff. No scifi allowed.

Got to thinkin' about this last night, and yeah...can't remember if its been done recently or not. So, screw it, here it is.

All avatars must conform to board rules - up to 140x140 & 140KB if animated.

Entries should be posted from now 'til Sunday night, I guess...that should give everyone time.

Me neither. I've looked for a depiction of heaven, hell and satan (next up is God)... you gotta cut us some slack here.

Odo said no sci-fi. He didn't say no sci-fi or fantasy.

Seems pretty simple to me. No depictions from sci-fi but other genres are fair game.

So I assume, for instance, that the afterlife in Star Trek V is verboten but not the afterlife in, for example, the Lovely Bones or the Simpsons Halloween special.

The only place I'll concede it gets tricky is comic books. For example, hell in a Superman story or Spawn could be either a sci fi hell or fantasy one.

OK....how about these two? One is the rather pretty, impressionist painting heaven from "What Dreams May Come."

and the second is the very simple heaven that Castiel preferred in "Supernatural."

Of course, bein' agnostic/atheist-ish, I can agree that Heaven & Hell qualify as fantasy. I'm just sayin' it'd be pretty damn easy to get a screencap of Sisko in the wormhole.
