I may be wrong, but didn't they both resign after the whole Tezwa affair in the "A Time To..." books?

I'm sure the OP knows that. If I understand correctly, he's asking if there's any further information after that - if they survived, if they were involved in any way. To which the answer as far as I know is, it hasn't been established.

Since David Mack wrote all the novels in question, perhaps he can shed some light.
