T'Bonz

Zman1

Captain
Captain
:vulcan:

Four to transport... any time now would be great.

How cool do you have to be to end up with your TrekBBS signin in not just one but several Trek books?

Of course, we all know that T'Bonz is actually a Romulan, not a Vulcan, so she must be on an undercover mission to infiltrate the Enterprise...;)

Dil Moore in Full Circle's named after Kevin Dilmore, right? i dunno HOW i missed that first time around. i got D'Mack was David Mack straight away...

Sittin' on a park bench, not sayin' a word.

You don't think its cool?

I missed dil more and d'mack d'oh

unless she just happens to be romulan and has a better time of it than soleta.

It's his not so subtle attempt to be subtle about the fact that a park on Andor was named after him (which was Ground Zeroed repeatedly).

wouldn't that be sitting in a hole then? subtle as a 5 kg sledge hammer. reminds me of a quote
Gone in Sixty Seconds (2000) said:
Kip: There it is.
Mirror Man: You're bullshitting me!"
Kip: I gotta get my tool
Mirror Man: Kip that's not a tool... that's a damn brick! Kip, man we gonna use a brick, we may as well call prison and make reservations!

Nothing like popping into lit and seeing a thread with one's name as the title. Had to double-check and make sure I wasn't in MA or QSF.

A smattering of in jokes is fine but it's easy for them to get out of control. When the Millennium Falcon and the mynocks showed up in Vanguard it was a WTF moment for me. Same with some of the more obious names. T'Bonz being used was cool although I kept thinking it was a Vulcan brand of dog treats. :guffaw:

I missed all of them!:brickwall: What books were they in?

T'Bonz appears in the A Time to books first. Dil Moore appears in Full Circle, he's the guy who helps B'Elanna build her ship. D'Mack is an off-hand reference to a Vulcan artist who's work is being exhibited at the Louvre in Full Circle.

Therin Park is hit by the Borg in Destiny.

Dayton rebuilt it. :bolian:

Therin Park pronounced by Heather Jarman in "Andor: Paradigm".

Bombed by TerriO and some Tellarites in an eBook. (Still waiting on the hardcopy.)

Devastated by Mr Mack and some Borg in "Destiny".

Reestablished in another Andorian city by Dayton Ward in "Paths of Disharmony", and revealed it was originally named to honour Shantherin th'Clane (of Christopher's "Ex Machina"), who was named for me.

Hate to use the dreaded c-word but isn't the Millenium Falcon canon since it was in First Contact?!

While I don't have any Trek things to my name, I happen to be a member of Marvel's Project: PEGASUS (a relatively obscure super-science group)! Really cool.

While I'm sure it was coincidence, I was very happy to see a Goodnough in the A Time to series. It was nice to think one of my descendants will be serving on the Enterprise.
