vampires

cool thanks. and now back to vampires those blood suckers. the new fright night movie looks awesome august will be a great month.

The new Fright Night will need to work really hard to be as fun as the original. Still, I'm looking forward to it. The trailer was interesting.

you're right the original still a favorite of mine. I the original dvd and got a copy in blu ray.

Anyone on here seen Daybreakers? I have it on Netflix Instant Watch queue, but haven't gotten around to watching it yet.

Got it on DVD not long ago, its actually a pretty good movie with an interesting twist on the genre in general. Check it out if you get the chance.

I really enjoyed Daybreakers. I thought it was an interesting take on Vampirism spread via infection.

I loved the opening sequence with the little girl.

Also, I valued that the daughter would not allow her father to compromise her principles.

I was saddened as those deformed, formerly-human shells were drug out into the sunlight.

the actor who played marcus on babylon 5 season 3 is going to be in a vampire movie soon.

has anyone read chuck hogan's the strain?
I listened to the sudiobook as read by Ron Perlman. Fine tale, a really good update of the vampire mythos with some engaging characters. Hogan co-wrote it with Guillermo del Toro.

well dark horse is doing graphic novel adaption of this series or is it a trilogy?

I all so found the first two on my nook.

I've read the first two books of the Strain Trilogy and liked both. You can see Del Toro playing with some of the ideas he first brought up in Blade 2.

I haven't read it yet, but I do have The Strain on my Nook wishlist, and I really look forward to reading it.
