Which is your favorite Lex pairing and why?

Not being a Smallville viewer (Lex and Chloe?? really???) I still have an opinion regardless. Chloe with anyone beat Lana with anyone because Chloe is a very good character and Lana is worthless. I got that much out of the five or six eps I managed to sit still for.

Still...I cannot see Chloe hooking up with Lex. What, was mind control involved?

And this reminds me, when are we going to see Allison Mack and Michael Rosenbaum back on some show? Those two are definitely the best actors to come out of Smallville, at least among the younger generation. I know about Breaking In, but the prognosis of that show is very iffy.

Lex and Lana was marvellous because of the wrongitudity.

Lex and Chloe had no romantic chemistry, he even abducted and Mengeled the little blonde girl.

I see only two ways that Lex and Chloe would ever hook up.

Chloe marries Lionel and then on principle Lex has to bang his stepmother.

For his 40th birthday if Lex was still married to Lana, his loving wife, she suggested a threesome with Chloe as his present.

"Lexana vs Chlex" sounds vaguely like it belongs on Farscape.

Lex and Lana would have been much more compelling and interesting in my opinion if it weren't just a plot device to eventually get Clark and Lana back together which ultimately happened. It was really just an extended commentary on Lex wanting everything that Clark has and tainting it.

Chloe and Lex? What? Or Clark and Lex? I'm not sure what Joe is asking with the second paring.

Alison Mack over the years expressed a desire to direct (she's directed a couple of short films since) and I think she has appeared on Broadway. She lives in New York now and I have always had the impression that she's not really interested in acting that much any more. As for Michael he's been attached to a couple of failed pilots and has been trying to shop around a couple of projects with no luck.

I think the thing she did on Broadway was that play with Kate Mulgrew. If she really is out of the acting business, that's a shame; she has so much talent, and I had entertained hopes of seeing her eventually get decent movie roles.

The best person for Lex was Helen Bryce...it is a shame they never really revisited that.

Not another cop show!!! Unless it's a space cop show with Allison as a bounty hunter tracking down the infamous and devious space pirate, Kirsten Bell. Or heck, flip the casting. Works that way, too.

Were Chloe and Lex ever an item on the series or is that purely speculative?

There is a group of Smallville fans who felt Lex and Chloe could be a romantic pairing based on their chemistry in S3 which is why I put it as a part of my thread's subject so those fans may want to speak out on it.

I'm only assuming from things I've heard, I only watched about half of S1 and maybe 5 or 6 more episodes throughout the entire rest of it's run.
