TV Shows on DVD reports that Season 3 of the original Bionic Woman will be released to DVD in North America in October:

Aside from the fact this means all of the original Six Million Dollar Man, Bionic Woman and the reunion movies are now on DVD (well, for those who also bought the SMDM box set from Time Life last fall, at least), as I understand it, Season 3 of Bionic Woman has not seen DVD release anywhere on the planet up to this point because of the complications involving it originally airing on a different network than the first 2 seasons.

Now all they need do is get the Batman TV series on DVD, and the remaining seasons of Kojak and Cannon and they can retire the format! ;)

No, I still want Eight is Enough and Crazy Like A Fox, and yeah, Batman.

But I agree, this is good news. I just hope that aren't numerous audio fuck-ups like season two.

Wrong, it was released in January 2009 in Germany and while I'm not sure it wouldn't surprise me if it was released in other countries as well.
Some american shows are released elsewhere before they are released in america, certain legal problems simply don't apply overseas. Ally McBeal was available in Europe years before it was released in the US and all 11 seasons of Baywatch are available uncut and with no music replacements in Germany and in that case it really is the only release worldwide that's worth its money.

Whoever posted last year that Season 3 of BW and Season 4 and 5 of SMDM were never released anywhere must have gotten it wrong. Along with a couple newspaper reviewers of the SMDM box set. So I don't stand corrected - but they do. ;)

Are you aware that Universal is sending free replacement discs in exchange? I've got mine coming from Universal's Toronto office as we speak.

No I wasn't. I have to look into it.

Thanks for the heads-up.:bolian:

If my brain had been working I'd have included a link for more info:
