I will no longer reply to a single post of yours...

You actually haven't replied to any of my posts asking you simple questions for which you either don't have answers or don't like the answers that you know to be true. So I guess this is as good an excuse as any for evading admitting that you're wrong.

But what about all the other folks whose questions you can't answer? You still haven't been able to cite an authority for the legal right of states to secede, because there is none. You owe Marc either a direct answer or an admission of your error.

OK let me ask a question. Ninjacore, who do you believe fired the first shot in the Civil War? The first shot being the Battle of Fort Sumter.

I am not falling for your trap, the yankees made the southerners fire by refusing to leave, so they made the southerners fire the first shot, meaning the yankees were at fault.

So you feel that the Confederates were so inept that they were easily tricked into firing on Fort Sumter and starting a war? That's an awfully low opinion of the Confederate Army.

An individual can make a bad tactical choice, only a zealot feels his side is infallible, they did fall for the trap Lincoln set...

Those "southerners" had no legal standing to require the "yankees" to leave. Still waiting for your proof that the "southerners" had a legal right to secede under the Constitution.

I already explained the reasoning...

So not just one individual, but the entire lot of Confederate soldiers at Fort Sumter all made bad tactical choices at the same time. That sounds like incompetence on the part of the Confederates. It also makes them sound like bullies because they apparently blame the victims instead of themselves.

A soldier follows orders, if he is told to dig and make deep pit just to do it, he will do it, his job is not to ask, why, the only thing he asks is how deep...

No, you said they did with no proof to back it up.

If I went around claiming your father was raping goats, I would need proof to back up.

OK perhaps i'm leading you a bit. Let me rephrase. What do you believe was the first "shot," either figuratively or literally, of the Civil War?

So you agree then that the Confederate soldiers were mindless, spineless obedient sheep, and their Confederate army leaders were incompetent. I think what's sad in all of this is that you feel the need to defend your heartfelt belief that black people are less than human.

Judging by how the war ended, I think that argument can genuinely be made. ;)

actually there are grounds for a soldier to refuse the orders if he doesn't believe them to be lawful though yes they have to prove sufficient grounds for the claim otherwise are court martialed for "disobeying a lawful order".
