I guess the title says everything on this subject. After a year of pain in the ass classes and brutally painful exams, I had to spend the first three weeks of my summer studying and writing a paper for the purposes of getting accepted onto a law journal. To make a long story short, I just got a call today informing me that I was just accepted into law review!

That's amazing Alidar! I know what an accomplishment that is. Congrats! Isn't it lovely when hard work pays off? :)

Congrats.

Is this something like Journalism on the Law or a step towards becoming a Lawyer or something else?

That is great news, Alidar! :D
Now, if you'll be so kind, I'm sitting in a jail cell for a crime of which I am innocent. See, there was this naked hobo carrying a box of used pocket protectors, and...

That is a very impressive feat. My most hearty congratulations. And condolences, as your life as you know it is over. All your formerly free time will now be devoted to Law Review notes and footnotes and cite form ... and you'll love every minute of it (or almost every minute.) It's a great accomplishment. Best wishes! :bolian:

Congrats!!

As an engineer, I don't mind lawyers (assuming the are not testifying against me at a public hearing), just architects.

CONGRATS!!!!

Three weeks?!?!

Damn! It took me 5 months, from July through November, but that was with all footnotes and everything done.

Advice: Get good editors and listen to them most of the time. You'll kick yourself later for all the little things you wish you could change AFTER it's too late and printed.

Nicer part? Someone cited me!!!! Something like, "Generally, regulations regarding food safety have been imposed at both the state and federal levels"--citing my Comment for the historical review of the regulations.
