Which, really, is what made everything so funny they were just so white, young middle-age, men about everything.

They wanted to find a killer to hire so the first place the look was on Craig's List. Then they go to the red-light district.

They conversation between Kurt and the OnStar guy and his name was funny, especially when he started off by saying he was going to call OSG by his real name before realizing he couldn't pronounce it and then just said, "Well I'm going to call you Charlie (or whatever it was) because I can't say that fucking name."

Hilarious movie. I mean, I could poke holes in it all night, sure, but comedies aren't that required to have their plot make sense. I just hope they don't do a sequel as a)I don't think the premise could stretch to another one and b)The Hangover more-or-less showed that going back to the well fucks things up.

Looks like this is going to be the break-out, must-see comedy of the Summer since The Hangover: Part Two was a complete disaster.

:wtf:

The Hangover Part II is the most successful R-Rated comedy of all time, and has made $550 million worldwide.

Other than Jennifer Aniston, right. ;)

Good God, no! Out of the three boss situations, I thought his was the worst. Yeah, the idea of your hot boss coming on to you is hot in theory, but her behavior was downright evil, not to mention illegal. If I had a boss I was attracted to and wasn't with anyone (or my current partner was okay with it) then yeah, I'd probably go for it. If my boss was a crazy psycho, spraying water on my crotch and walking around half-naked and demanding I fuck her, though? No way, dude. Time for a new job.

I hope they don't go the sequel route but you know they will. Maybe with a whole new group of actors.

How well it did at the box office is irrelevant to how good of a movie it was. It was reviewed poorer than the first one, word of mouth was lackluster and it so pretty sizable drops in BO take between weeks.

You should know as well as any one BO take =\= quality of movie. I mean how well have all the Transformer movies done in the BO?

Believe me, I know box office doesn't equal quality.

But in any cinematic journalistic medium, when someone says "this is going to be the break out, must see comedy of the summer," they're referring to box office and how many butts in seats, not quality. Hence my confusion.

The film grossed $28.1 million this week, about $3 million better than expectations. With word of mouth, it could end up grossing over $100 million.

I name thee blasphemer! Thou shalt not reject a horned-up Jennifer Aniston under any circumstances!!!

The movie has been out on DVD and Blu-Ray for awhile now and I've finally gotten the chance to watch it. I got the Blu-Ray edition of the movie which includes the theatrical release, an unrated version as well as a digital copy disc.

The unrated extended "Totally Inappropriate" edition doesn't add too much grandiose. A couple strong-worded scenes, a visual representation of Motherfucker Jones telling how he got his nick-name and I think at least one or two minor exposition scenes that help fill in some very minor plot holes/inconsistencies.

Unfortuantely not more in the way of a scantly-dressed, slutty Jennifer Anniston.

Still. the remove remains quite funny and it's easy to see why it was such a highly regarded comedy this year with audiences and critics. I hear a sequel is in the pipeline which I don't think will work as I don't see how the same premise can be revisited. I thought The Hangover would lend itself easily to a sequel given the strong cast but this year's sequel was a bit of a disappointment by turning up the notch on all elements and expect the audience to go with it. I feat the same could happen with these characters.

Anyway, funny, funny, movie and I highly enjoy it, the entire cast does very, very, well. Charlie Day, Jason Bateman, Jennifer Anniston, Colin Farrel, Jamie Foxx, Kevin Spacey all do great. I think Jason Sudeikis does especially well and given I've not seen him in anything before and I look forward to seeing him in more stuff.

Anniston was hilarious in this movie, though pretty much everyone was. I would recommend this as well even if it is just to see Anniston and Farrel's comb-over.

I gave it a solid "B". Funny and well made, better than most film comedies, but not gut bustingly funny or a classic.
