Anslem?

Kup1986

Ensign
Newbie
Has any consideration ever been given to someone writing Anslem? Basically, similar how The Needs of the Many was written as if "Jake Sisko himself" wrote it? It would be a "real" novel, but written by a "fictional" character.

Hope that makes sense....

Gah, I read the Millenium books but I have no memory of Anselm quotes. I'll have to go back and have a look. Any hints as to which books they are in?

Millenium was a great read even if I was so confused about time by the end of it I had to stop trying to keep it all in place. I do remember they had great characterizations and that the story had an excellent pace.

I only ever had the Millennium omnibus, so I'm not sure exactly the books that the Anslem. A quick Amazon.com "Search inside" yielded this:

I too really liked Millennium, but it was a bit mind boggling at times. I really got a kick out of playing The Fallen which was a limited version of the series. I've recently went back to the game and discovered the DS9 Technical Manual was used quite a bit by the developers.

There's a different passage from Anslem at the start of each of the three books...or each of the 3 sections of the omnibus.
