^My IM-client shows anyone, that has me in theirs, what I'm listening to at any given moment -why not have a bot of sorts, that posts what you're watching at any given moment, in these threads?
That would be a great help in my daily postings....

That's why I use Twitter. Forcing the rest of the world to read my every waking move so that the TrekBBS doesn't have to.

It's just that I've turned off the "now playing" message in MSN because I was afraid of my friends noticing when I'm listening to some crap music I consider as a guilty pleasure.

Star Trek: The Next Generation, Episode #94:The Drumhead, on Netflix. This is one of my favorite episodes and, I feel, one that makes an excellent point in it's message, particularly in our current political climate.
Just finished up with the season opener of Burn Notice. Then watched the third episode of the Glee summer show (I can't remember the exact name at the moment - kids competing for a guest run). There's a girl on there who is just like the character of Rachel, only she's a real person and even more annoying.
And then caught up on this past week's America's Got Talent. I endure the loonies for the sake of the dreamers.
Oh, and I was going to say YAY for Trek on Netflix. Surprised myself with what I watched first - Voyager's "Ashes to Ashes" and "Blink of an Eye", and then started (again) trying to watch Enterprise with "Broken Bow." *sigh* I don't think I've ever watched such a boring series premiere.
I'm determined to watch the whole series though. There's value there. I know it. Somewhere. *repeated sigh*

The Glee Project. How is that show anyway. I didn't have much interest in it, but have heard it being talked about on occasion.
I am currently looking at How Long is a Piece of String with Alan Davies on YouTube because I forgot to look at it when it was on TV a couple of weeks ago. It is the history and problems etc of measurement.

Did you ever watch it through before? Seasons 3 and 4 are where its at. What's so sad is the show compares pretty well to others. I don't care what series it is, none of them find themselves until Season 4. In fact, I think it's arguable that overall, Enterprise's Season 3 is as good as or better than any of the other series.
The biggest flub was someone got it into their head they could change the rules of serial television and bring back the "Big Three" concept, when it had been blatantly obvious in the major network successes like E.R., Lost, 24, Battlestar Galactica, even DS9 with respect to Trek; that ensemble casts were the way that serial television was moving. Enterprise had too small a cast; not to mention a few complete waffles. Somebody was asleep at the casting couch. And when you're forced to relive the awful, awful dialog of Voyager, it's hard to take seriously all of the naysaying hatred about Enterprise's writing. It deserved 7 seasons a hell of a lot more than Voyager did. That show was circling the drain until Tits McGee was added.
Burn Notice is fantastic but I'm wondering if and how they're going to change the formula now that Michael's employment status has changed (avoiding spoilers!). Episode 2 of this new season is slightly revealing of that. I have to say I think Jesse is a breath of fresh air into that show, it was starting to stagnate, but at least they finally gave up on the ridiculous "will they, won't they" drama and just resolved[b/] Michael and Fiona. Lot of shows could take a lesson, that's only interesting for so long.
