I am Number 6.

...though I do occasionally catch myself cheering on Thor whenever I hear thunder and lightning during a storm

I think I'd like to hear from the strong theist person. And watch him get butchered by 7 and 6s.

I don't know if it is trolling, per se, but it is definitely a motivation that seems more suited to The Neutral Zone than here, IMHO.

I'm not on your chart, btw. I'm an Evangelical Apathetic Agnostic: I don't know, and I don't care, and I feel pretty strongly that no one else should claim to know or really care, either.

How is it trolling?
I'm no expert on the subject, but it seems to me that setting up a poll to lure people with a certain opinion in so that you can watch them be hassled by people with a different opinion could be considered trolling.

I'm not saying that's what you did, either. Just explaining how someone might see it that way from your post #46.

^I wouldn't call it trolling. And this wasn't my intention, of course. I was just pointing out the aggressive attitude I've noticed.

No one should care if there is an intelligent creator of reality as we know it? Why in the world shouldn't we care about such an important thing?

I wasn't sure how to vote. I consider myself to be an agnostic theist, strong belief, but without knowledge. I suppose 2 would be the best fit? Number three addresses agnosticism as well as theism, but I don't think "leaning towards" is an accurate representation of how I feel.

I don't like the OP's definition of "strong atheist". I would rather define my position as something like: Of course there are no gods and there's even less logic in believing in specifically the Christian god (or the Muslim god, etc), but I don't really give a fuck.

It was me. I know for a fact that there is a divine Creator and that He looks out for me. He looks out for you too, even if you do reject Him, because He is a loving, caring God. You can't say anything to change my mind because I know that He is real.
