But how often are they in the majority? As main characters? Being EVEN is something rarely achieved. I can't think of any sci fi where women made up the majority of characters. I think we are all so used to seeing men as the majority we don't even notice it.

In the case of 7, B'Elanna and Kes (in Fury) they usually WERE the hostility!

Oh yeah.
I don't think I would want to be around B'Elanna around that time of the month, if Klingon women have to suffer like humans(they probably don't, it would distract from the battle), that would be far too frightening.
And don't forget Seska, she was an excellent character.

Awesome to be back!! I've been making my way through the Koffee Klub authors, whoever still has their sites up. Also Ralkana and Maquis Leader. Good stuff, pretty sexy sometimes! I neglected to say how much I enjoyed "Counting in Time," too. OMG, loved it; it was epic!! I could have happily read another 30 chapters.
LOVE the KM in Hamlet pic. I'd really like to see her in that! I saw Sir Patrick Stewart in Macbeth in NY 3 years ago and that was a transcendent experience; imagine KM?!

I don't think I have it in me, since CiT was my ultimate "wish fullfillment" work.. correcting everything that was just "wrong" in "Endgame".
