Scotland to leave the UK?

Better luck next time.

Likewise!
Just keep trying. :)

(On a sidenote: Don't take me seriously. We're arguing over nothing. I feel a bit ridiculous atm. ;) I just figured I'd add the little bit I know about Flemish Dutch to the conversation. It wasn't much. :vulcan:)

So what are you suggesting? Should Belgium just ignore their own languages and switch to English because Dutch and French are meaningless in our world?

Actually that's what is done in Bruxelles : it's in the Flemish part of Belgium, the dominant language is French but when they have to communicate with each other, they often switch to English.

No, what I'm suggesting is a little more comprehension from both. Francophone could at least try to learn basics of Dutch (actually a lot try but francophones are not naturally gifted with foreign languages  and Flemish is particularly unpleasant to a francophone ear) and Flemish should stop being rude with everyone who speak French, maybe Walloons would stop teasing them ;)

Oh, no doubt at all.
I completely agree with you. Just doesn't seem that the Belgians (on both sides) are open for dialogue at the moment which is quite silly. :(

Given the crazy way the country is set up, it's a minor miracle it has lasted as long as it did. ;)

It would be a shame about the Union flag if it did happen. But as of now, I don't think it really will

The Union Flag or flag of the European Union? If the former, it survived the partition of Ireland.

The Union Jack. Why should the flag of the EU be in any way affected?
And as for Ireland, well, part of it stayed in the union, so the St Patrick's cross could stay, too.

^^ Go to your Control Panel and see if you're signed up.

There could be major repercussions to something like this-- including violence if the disenfranchised faction is not happy with the outcome.

Well if the Orange Order did decide to riot, I personally would be happy to see them get a good kicking.
Heh. It would all depend on how the economy turns out. Standard of living is what it's all about.

I am, I even left the group and rejoined it, nothing.
Looks like I've been banned? - for some reason...

Sounds like you've been kicked out. That's aways been the reason when anyone has lost TNZ access without explanation.

My guess is you weren't wearing the flag enthusiastically enough.

It's tough, especially since no one is allowed to tell you how to do it properly. I think we've all been caught out by that one, am I right? :shifty:

Hmmmmm, you know I can't actually remember. You could be right, but that would have been in my deep, dark troll-like past.
