SGU and the Franchise have been shelved, any movie possibilities have been shelved.
Kinda sad, the last episodes of SGU were not too bad.
As I was watching the last episode, I started getting really bummed out because I really wanted to see the next season!

Unfortunately the Facebook page also got hacked.
I'd say the fact that a fan group on Facebook about Stargate Universe got an article on the website of perhaps the premiere business journal in the world is pretty significant if only because it appeared in a business magazine as opposed too an entertainment one. It may show that there is perhaps some financial incentive in continuing the Stargate franchise, at least on some level.

50k isn't alot. Atlantis was cancelled in Aug of 2008 and by Sept 2008 their petition had 16,000. Intresting still is that this effeort is boasted as not just a Save SGU but a save Stargate and save Sci Fi effort.

He doesn't provide any logical reason for why a network would not just give permission to run SGA and SGU side by side but why even bother to endorse this show if you were just going to cancel it after 1.5 seasons. This is just coming off as sour grapes. Every conspiracy theory at least has a reason, could he not bother to think of exactly why Sy Fy would go through this kind of trouble or even allow the show to continue after the cancellation?
