The definitive Star Trek game would a Mass Effect clone with some Bridge Commander thrown in for ship combat.
God yes, keep talking *massive Gaming boner*

The definitive Star Trek game would a Mass Effect clone with some Bridge Commander thrown in for ship combat which used the original cast in full animation with all the completed voice recordings from the Secret of Vulcan fury which were being hidden until the technology was ready.:drool::drool:

I don't keep up with this handheld scene, whats the difference between WiFi and 3G?

^ 3G allows you to connect via your phone network provider, WiFi in this context is just a fancy way of saying "you'll need a WLAN hotspot to connect to the internet".

And Sony are going to tie the device down to a single network, probably O2 or Vodafone in the UK/Ireland, with the highest-quality network because that's what's best for the consumer.

Whoops, I meant to say that Sony will make a deal with the highest bidder at the expense of what's best for the consumer.

5 minutes into the music erm game show that is Nintendo and I am wondering when will Nintendo realise we are not all 12 year old...get on with it.

3G is the cell phone data network that comes to your cellphone from a cellphone tower. WiFi is the wireless internet connection that you get from your wireless router at your house.

WHAT THE FUCK NINTENDO did you just show me an fucking I-Pad ?

Wii-U, really.

Did I just see GTA Lego? :wtf:

Am sorry Nintendo your supposed to show us the console first then the controller ? where the hell is the console for this Wii-Pad.

GT chat section, no one is happy with what their seeing so far.

EDIT - This new trailer thats better, thats how you get my attention and I hope the Pad can act like the scanner for the Aliens game.

I love the idea of having a mini-screen in your controller (which Sega did first with the Dreamcast), but that thing is way too fucking big and undoubtedly expensive. I'm not sure who Nintendo is aiming for with this new Wii.

Still waiting to see the actual console? housing the hardware. Only seen the controller so far

Erm Nintendo WTF just happened.

Still waiting to see the actual console? housing the hardware.

Maybe the pad IS the hardware?

To house 360/PS3 power then it can't be because no way they can fit all hardware in the controller plus they called it a controller not console...HDD? Memory Cards ? Disc Slot ? Nintendo that was poor, there are mixed comments everywhere on net am reading asking wheres the console ?

EDIT - Ok am hearing this is the console (Not sure if this is real), Nintendo why did you not show it at your show?

I would think that they didn't show it because it's not important to them: The controller and the experience is the selling point. As far as I'm concerned, they told us the three most important things, making "my penis is bigger than yours" type statements of hardware specs unneccesary.

1) It will output in full HD
2) It will have onboard storage (Based on John Riticello's comments that the system will be able to receive DLC and updates... I will try to dig up the exact quote)
3) It has an open online capability.

Honestly, over a year away from release, that's all I need to know that the big N is at least trying.

Oh cool, pretty much a bigger version of what they already have. Has rounded edges too.

That's my line of thinking too. Plus, this console isn't due until sometime next year and they may not have nailed down the specific specs yet. Or if they have, they're not worth mentioning other than "we can do HD".

Nintendo had a pretty good presentation IMO and there was more that interested me in it than the others, including this new console.

Until I know specs like HDD or Cards, Price and Online service better than Wii, I can't say I care too much.
