How is Janeway sexy?

Indeed, in the previous moments she looked to be having so much fun watching her younger self and the Doc. She seemed to be enjoying the moment with a lot of almost impenetrable aloofness which just collapses in her eyes when Seven walks in. It is a wonderfully well played moment.

I love the whole sickbay scene. How Janeway and the Doctor discuss in low voice not trusting her and how The Admiral is sat down in a bio bed looking at them with that smirk and being a cool cat. Love the good Admiral.

And the comment about her hearing being unimpaired while they are whispering. The admiral has such a wonderfully refined and malicious sense of humor. I also loved the make up used on Mulgrew. They seemed in some ways to have kept her older self looking younger than her younger self. A lot of times in Voyager, Janeway gets on a martyr kick as a story thread, she has to suffer because the ship is in the Delta Quadrant. Admiral Janeway pays the ultimate price and the make up seems to convey that to me. Her older self retains a look of youthfulness or even ethereal that her younger self doesn't have. She having a more earthy make up tone. Is this making any sense?

What about using that wonderful Avatar... "Ashes of the Borg Queen". :bolian:

I BET you she will HOOT when she sees it. :guffaw:

I am soooo thick, I actually googled "Ashes of the Borg Queen" to figure out what avatar you might be talking about :alienblush:

Thank you all for your comments about the pics. I did not realize that the ones online would not print nicely at all.. I guess I can just try printing some and see how it goes. The "Got Balls?" one was a promo shot so maybe it will print clearer or maybe I don't know what I'm talking about. I have some time still to figure it out.

Spalko did you draw the original pirate Janeway you did? Or is it manipped in some way?

Yes, makes a lot of sense. Those are exactly my thoughts. In Admiral role, Kate looks much younger than she doe without the white hair, in fact she looks better with the white hair, the red uniform, her being all cool, than as Janeway.

If it's in color (and it's not the tattoo drawing) it's a manip. I did it for a friend and it's a manip from a POTC picture (one of Orlando Bloom's character) with a capture from "Concerning flight"

She is so very committed to this task of hers. I love the cargo bay conversation with Seven, which is one of my favorite J/7 scenes. The way she appeals to Seven to talk to her younger self, she knows who's the most likely to get through the Captain's hardheadedness. The way she pleads about people who love her without naming names. I really don't see her relationship with Chakotay lasting long after getting to Earth.

True, if someone can change Janeway's mind, that person is Seven. Oh, and how her voice cracks when she says: People who love you... very intense and emotional scene. *nods

Indeed, that moment speaks volumes, especially with her reluctance to ever talk about Seven after her death. She also uses that fact in talking to her younger self. Through out her relationship, Janeway takes incredible risks to herself and the ship whenever Seven is in danger. The admiral and the captain are more than a little dangerous where Seven is concerned.

What did you find, when you googled your own avatar? :guffaw:

Endgame, apart from out of the blue C7 and no closure to the casts stories post Voyager, I like this episode. I like the story itself as I love Janeway's Kirk like attitude to 'No win scenarios' and Directives to be obeyed- 'I don't like to lose'
This scene is a favorite, her eyes seem to have a moment of heartbreak that Seven doesn't recognize her.

That's exactly why I like this episode. It may not be as good as Dark Frontier, but Admiral Janeway is even more BAMF than Janeway and yes, that scene and how she almosts gasp "Seven!" with all the emtion on her eyes, aww... Love it to pieces.

What I liked about that scene was how Seven looks at her like a stranger, and goes immediately to Mama Janeway with her report.

Specially for all the (odontophobes?), my favorite evil cartoon...

mwaa-ha-ha

*cringe*

Thankfully fake blood (usually!!!) doesn't knock me out. ;) My spoon is too big! I love those cartoons, too. :)

Janeway reading fanfic on her kindle.

HEY! She's giving us the finger!

Janeway, happily reading fic on her Kindle, is interrupted by her door chime. She mumbles for the door to open, and in strolls Harry, who has just worked up the courage to finally ask for a promotion. He blathers on and on about how he gets no respect and always seems to get the short end of the stick, and Janeway ever-so-casually slides her middle finger up her cheek and continues reading.

It takes a full five minutes for Harry to get the message.

My thought exactly.

BTW, I'm just popping in from where I've been reading "Counting in Time" whenever the little ones give me a computer break. I'm totally hooked. Can't. Stop. Reading.

Also, wishing the dentist-phobes and needle-phobes luck.

Welcome, Delenn!

LOVE the Janeway mussed hair collection.

And kodos, am in love with "Sacred Ground" Janeway pic. She's just lovely with her hair flowing like that.

Shat, she's most definitely giving us the finger as she reads her kindle. Must be a C/7 fanfic.

Sorry for totally random disjointed post. Quick drive-by as my DS watches the same episode of "Max and Ruby" for the 10th time in a row, so help me.
