Do you have any quirky or odd likes or dislikes, faves or hates?

I love "Spectre" and "Eden" of TOS. I find "Balance of Terror" dull.

I enjoy the first two seasons of TNG and find DS9 over-rated.

Do you have any of what most people here would find to be quirky likes or dislikes?

I like TNG's seventh season, Generations and Nemesis.

I think The City on the Edge of Forever is overrated.

I love both Bread and Circuses and The Omega Glory.

I actually like the first two seasons of TNG far more than what came later. Never did warm to DS9, primarily because of Nana Visitor.

I love both the TOS Enterprise and the nuEnterprise equally.

I like the TOS uniforms in the first two pilot episodes better than the classic ones used for the rest of the series.

I think the TMP uniforms were cool.

I liked the original (Seasons 1 and 2) TNG uniforms.

    I like Wesley Crusher.

I rank Insurrection and Nemesis above First Contact.

I thought Simon Pegg was great as Scotty in Star Trek XI.

I really like seasons 2 and 7 of TNG.

    I, too, like Wesley.

TMP is no. 3 on my ranking of Trek films from best to worst.

    I think 11:59 is a great episode.

All of Enterprise is rather wonderful.

I abhor the JJ Abrams movie, even though every fibre of my being expected to love it.

I dislike wesley Crusher, but I adore the episode "the dauphin"

If I am not trying to think too hard, I enjoy episodes like "The Royale", "Up the Long ladder", and Devils Due.

Only recently have I learned to stop worrying and enjoy First Contact (the episode)...

Even if it a better episode, If you gave me a choice between TNG "Where no man has gone before" and "Justice" I would pick "Justice" every time.

Even I made a couple attempts to watch Voyager. I cannot make it though Season 1...
(Though the much worse season 1 of TNG I can watch)

I don't find Kira to be a whine, Jazdia Annoys me, even if she gorgeous,

I enjoy the bad TOS like Bread and Circuses in many ways more then the good ones.

I am not a huge fan of City on the edge of forever....

One of these days I'm going to write a sequel to "Catspaw."

I love the large majority of TOS season 3. There's a lot of stuff here that doesn't get the respect it deserves imo.

I like The Motion Picture, Final Frontier, and Generations.

Put me down as another huge fan of "The Royale". The humor in that one is great.

I like: "Spock's Brain," "Devil's Due," "Sub Rosa," "Doctor's Orders," and probably a lot of other usually-disliked episodes that I'm blanking on.

I'm not a huge fan of "Best of Both Worlds Part II."

TNG is my least favorite series (leaving TAS out of the equation) by a mile. That seems to be an uncommon sentiment.

    I love ST:V.

^ I'm not a huge fan of ST V, but I like Spock's hidden pain scene. It's a great way to bookend the character: What was said at his birth in scorn was said at his death as praise. Kind of makes you think.

I like TNG's "Up The Long Ladder" more than most seem to. And I'm primarily a TOS fan. Indeed I like a good portion of TNG's first and second seasons.

I think Bread and Circuses and The Paradise Syndrome are among the best episodes of TOS.

Like a few others, I find the earliest TNG episodes, (say seasons 1-4), much more interesting than the latter half of the show.

ST6 : TUC gets torn to shreds online at times, but it was a terrific finale to the TOS films.

I am an insanely passionate, old school TOS fan, but I thought Star Trek 09 was the best thing to happen to Star Trek in about twenty years.

Bread and Circuses has far more to offer than the typical S2 "Crew goes to the _____ planet and escapes" plot. And - oh wait, I was thinking "This Side of Paradise" . . . you're right "Paradise Syndrome is a quirky like! Good for you.

I didn't care for Trek 09 personally as a matter of taste, but you might be right - 20 years ago was 1991. TNG well-established by then. Then three more series of merely-decent worth imho. I watched it all b/c it is Trek, yet the older, more discriminating me now looks at it as a lot of "meh." Trek 09 was certainly vibrant, I'll give it that.

I thought Archer was a great captain in Enterprise and I enjoyed a captain that seemed a bit more "down to earth".

I liked Voyager quite a bit.

I hate anything having to do with the latest "Abrams Trek: 90210" movie.

I think "The Inner Light" is pretty overrated and I think "I, Borg" is one of the most idiotic episodes of the entire franchise. But in those cases, I don't consider my taste to be quirky. I consider the majority of Trek fandom to be WRONG. ;)
