I'm saying when it comes to this kind of stuff Americans are not very smart and not very excepting of other cultures... I didn't say they are all bad because of this and I'm sure their are very opened minded people, too. Personally, I've experienced prejudice from American people judging by the way they talk to me at work. Even the people who seem nice, you wouldn't believe the kind of crap they say. It seems like they are the center of the world and how great Americans are. I'm not saying they are bad people, but they got a lot to learn.

When I was living in Japan I had occasion to look at a Japanese history book for school children, there was no mention of Japan's actions in the second world war, but it did note that one day for no particular reason America dropped an atomic bomb on a Japanese city ... just out of the blue.

Imperfect perhaps, but yes we are a great people who have accomplished much during our relatively brief existence on this world. In some cases we built on the shoulders of others, but oh how we have built.

Paradon, take a look sometime at how many Nobel prizes in the sciences have been awarded to Americans.

America has only been around for a little over 200 years. You guys got lucky because the founding fathers has set in motion a great government structure and you are destroying and throwing it all away. Most other cultures are far more rezilliant than Americans and are more resourceful, and if they had the kind of government you had, I don't think Americans can compete. Look at Vietnam. They beat you during the Vietnam with practically outdated weapons, and yet I hear a lot of excuses and most American wouldn't admit they lost the war. The native tribes of the America still awaits American government for apologies for writing bad things about them, making them out to be the bad guys when they hadn't really kill any settlers and externimating their people. Your government still don't admit that it had committed atrocidy against other people...the Native Americans, Middleeastern, Iranians, Laotions, Vietnamese, the list goes on. A lot of people are pissed off because your government kill people and don't admit to any crime and look at where your arrogant had gotten you. You spend all the resources overseas bankrupting your country. Pretty soon America will lay in ruin like Rome for spending too much time on war and weakening your economy. You think it was coincident that they bombed you. They bomb you because they know you are arrogant enough to do this and bankrupt your nation. Every country sees it golden age and America is almost at the end of it because you think every problem can be solve by using your military mights to bully other people.

Let's talk about what country you are from so we can make broad stereotyped generalizations about your civilians and your countries accomplishments.


To say America "got lucky" is delusional bs. There wasn't anything "lucky" about it, just a lot of ingenuity and hard work.

I would agree that our "golden age" has passed us by. We peaked after WW2 and everything has been on a slightly and now accelerated downhill slope since. But you'd be damned foolish to count us out.

And for your jabs about Vietnam, let's talk about Korea. Without our military intervention there is no South Korea. Hopefully you can see the differences between the North and South without someone needing to spell it out for you.

By your government deliberately starting a war with the communists, you pissed them off and they retreated further and further into their believes and ideology. Now they just realizing what mistakes they have made and are just now allowing their people to take charge of the economy trying to beat the U.S. in our own game. They would have done this ages ago had you hadn't been so stubborn, and many lives would have been spared.

Well I guess the United States could've never entered World War 2. In that case Koreans would still be occupied by the Japanese and what is now Europe would be considered Nazi Germany.

(In all actuality the North invaded South Korea and that started the Korean War. Had the US not intervened the likely expectation is that all of Korea would look as North Korea does today.)

Why do think the native Americans hate your government and love the British. And Thailand never went to war over slavery like your country did. There are other ways. And for you information America has cause the genocides that occurred in other countries by installing dictators and messing around with other countries political and societal changes in order to make them more like your government. In Cambodia you backed a guy named Pol Pots in order to fight the communists in Cambodia. You basically put a regime in power. He turned out to be a psychopath, which later killed millions of Cambodians. During Vietnam war your country dropped surplus bombs on Laos after coming back from flying over Vietnam, and Laos wasn't even at war with the United States. Til this day, people in Laos are still killed by bombs that didn't detonate when they were drops years ago, that have scattered throughout the country side killing and crippling innocent people who don't even get enough to eat everyday. And your country install a regime in Thailand, head by military, so that Thailand would back the United States during the Vietnam War and allow you to build airfield, so they could launch air strikes against Vietnam depriving the Thai people of their precious democracy. As you know, Thailand has never started a single war against any country. When they did attack, it was only in self defense. The lists go on, but that's what on top of my head.
