We don't actually know yet, but either way, they won't be related. Voyager is definitely off doing its own thing.
 
Well, Unworthy takes place in June-July 2381, and I'd expect Children of the Storm to pick up not long afterward. The earliest Typhon Pact novel, Rough Beasts of Empire, spans February '81 to February '82, while the rest of the TP novels take place in the latter half of '82. So my expectation is that CotS will take place sometime during the span of RBoE and before the rest of the TP books. The series would have to jump forward quite a way to be after the TP series.

Obviously you didn't understand what I said. My point was that it was very unlikely to be after Typhon Pact.

In fact, the current issue of Star Trek Magazine contains an excerpt from Children of the Storm which seems to indicate that it begins mere days after Unworthy, which would put it around the same time as the main body of Over a Torrent Sea, near the end of the 7-month gap between Parts I & II of Rough Beasts of Empire, and between Chapters III & V of Watching the Clock.

DTI isn't a series. There's one DTI novel, and I'll soon be writing a TOS novel that's a DTI prequel. But it's premature to assume that there'll be anything more beyond that.

I picked up Children of the Storm in Forbidden Planet two days ago. I don't have it to hand to see if it's got UK prices on, but I'm pretty sure it does.

Also, forgive the dumb question, but what does DTI stand for?

Ok, it's been driving me crazy, why do you spoiler tag that stuff? I don't think anyone is going to be offended or upset that stuff is available for the Nook.
 
That sounds exactly like the sort of thing I'd enjoy. I'll keep an eye out as soon as I get done with Children of the Storm.
