I was just playing around with a 3D model of the K'Tinga class, and did something I've always wanted to do: 'Federate' a Klingon ship. (the K'Tinga, and the Enterprise from which I borrowed the nacelles, are both by Prologic9; I modeled the new forward hull and Starfleet bridge modules):

The conceit here is that this is from an only-slightly-different alternate universe, one where they captured a K'Tinga and then made a few ... changes ...

Well, I'll try, but it'll mean blowing up a nearby star ... and the Feds really frown on that!

Ohhh, no! We already saw what a f***ed up mess we get when the Romulans' home star blew up - I ain't touching that with a 10-kilometer pole!

How about the Pakleds? Nobody is gonna miss the Pakled's star.

That's okay. They'd just steal somebody else's.

They'd need to steal an entire star system, since usually when a star goes, they take all of the inhabitable planets with them.

I say just turn the floodlights on, it will save a lot of trouble.

And finally, a ship that the Klingons can't call is a garbage scow, or claim should be hauled away as garbage, because then they would be admitting that their own ships are worthless!
