Excelis reborn

Excelis Rising, my first Big Finish Dr Who audio play, is now re-released to buy as a download - http://www.bigfinish.com/2-Doctor-Who-Excelis-Rising - isn't that nice? Stars Colin Baker, Anthony Stewart Head ( from Buffy and Merlin) and Charles Kay. The previous story, Excelis Dawns, by Paul Magrs is also re-upped for download, and I presume the third and fourth stories will follow shortly.

Actually, while I'm mentioning this - it's a recent rerelease as BF work through their back-catalogue - I might as well plug my other BF audios, which were always available as download versions anyway...

Unregenerate is here: http://www.bigfinish.com/70-Doctor-Who-Unregenerate!

and Stargate Atlantis: Meltdown is here: http://www.bigfinish.com/26-Stargate-Atlantis-Meltdown

I tend to think of Rising as one of the earlier gems of Big Finish Doctor Who, and that it's a shame we never had a load more from you.

There was another one that Gary Russell liked and said "get back to me in three months when I'll be commissioning" - and then he got the script editing job at the BBC about a month later and was no longer commissioning at BF!

I only listened to the Excelis series recently. It was my first introduction to Iris.

Can't decide if I want to hear more of her adventures or not.

I did enjoy the whole Excelis series, but I think Rising was my favorite part.

Wow! A proper writer! Congrats.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but you should totally create a thread on how you find inspiration, your work methodology, etc. I'd certainly read it.

I didn't realize who you were - cool! I enjoyed your Virgin New Adventures novels immensely.

I am glad to see that Big Finish still has the CD versions available for all these stories. I'm not a big fan of downloads, myself. Too easy to lose. But the work that company has done over the last 13 years needs wider exposure so anything that helps in that regard is a good thing!

Well, I wouldn't go that far...

Inspiration - mainly from history, current affairs, or the franchise I'm writing in. Work methodology - just do it, to music.
