Sorry, thought the filename would be sufficient. That's Tiburcio Vásquez, real-life bad guy and notorious bandit from the early days of California statehood.![]()

She was the Countess of Blood. In the 16th Century, she tortured and killed hundreds of girls and allegedly bathed in their blood in an attempt at maintaining youth. She's sort of the female version of Count Dracula. And she may or may not be the worst female serial killer in history.Could we have a little background?![]()

Is there a picture in that post? Because if there is, I don't see it.
The free image hosting site I’m using is one of the smaller ones, and it’s a bit dodgy. Sometimes it goes down briefly for no apparent reason.^

Leopold II of Belgium - A man who was responsible for 10 million deaths in the Congo and who had the audacity to claim he was a humanitarian.
Some of us are too lazy to right-click (or Control-click on a Mac) on the picture and go to “Properties.” In any case, Tiburcio Vásquez isn’t exactly a household name, even in California.Sorry, thought the filename would be sufficient.![]()

His hiding place "Vasquez Rocks" is known to all Trekkies as the place where Kirk fought the Gorn captain and countless other Trek episodes where a "not on this earth" background was needed.
She was the Countess of Blood.
Hey, she has the same name as my ex. Small world.![]()
Maybe that immortality thing worked out after all.
Generally it's based on how many entries we get. If we only get a few entries we reduce the number of votes each person may cast. These aviator games are cool, but I wonder, how do you calculate/decide how many votes each voter gets? Is there a forumlar you use to work it out depending on how many entries there are?
