I can't believe they didn't cancel that hideous Patricia Heaton The Middle "sitcom"
I doubt it. ABC has plenty of room on their schedule now.
They've lost Supernanny and cancelled The Whole Truth and My Generation earlier in the year.
Ahhh, they should have cancelled one more (I don't care what) and picked up Hallelujah.
One thing's for sure, 2011-12 sounds much better for ABC than 2010-11 did. Of course, that's also true for NBC and FOX and even CBS which has now picked up a show I'd be willing to watch which is more than they had before.

Sad to hear about Brothers & Sisters, I've really enjoyed that show. And how unfortunate that it has already ended this season with a cliffhanger. I am really going to miss the show.
No, it doesn't. It certainly ends on what some might consider to be a downer, but it is in no way a cliffhanger. The writers of the series weren't talented enough to know what the word "cliffhanger" meant anyway.
That one is weird because just last week it was being leaked there would be 6-17 episodes of a final season.
I liked the few episodes of Off The Map that I saw, and I figured that it was a shoo-in for renewal since it was another Shonda Rhimes project. Also, it was filmed in Hawaii and looked very pretty.
No surprise about Mr. Sunshine, especially since Matthew Perry just went into rehab. I watched it at first just for James Lesure, but it was pretty boring.
But Brothers & Sisters? I never watched it, but I figured it was one of the network's biggest shows.

It can be interpreted as a cliffhanger or as the actual ending of the show...if perhaps an unexpected ending.

Mr. Sunshine was doomed from the beginning and it has nothing to do with rehab. It was just boring and never funny.
Brothers and Sisters has been dying, all of ABCs dramas are getting old besides castle.
So did I. I thought it had to do with Calista Flockhart's paycheck, but I guess that's water under the bridge.
Sucks for V and No Ordinary Family (the only shows I watched in the list). I missed the season finale, so it's a good bet I will buy the final season when it comes out on DVD now. Of the two, I thought NOF was a better show and I didn't get the ratings decline. It also ended on a pretty solid note. At least there was a little sense of closure with that one...for me at least.
Not suprised that No Ordinary Family & Detroit got axed. I was expecting it. Still not happy about it. Especially Detroit which was a really well written/well acted show. NOF was good, but it had problems with some of the writing (especially the stuff with the kids). I will def. miss Detroit more.
