At just 28 years old Ben Foster has quit ENGLAND to help him boost his club career :wtf: your 28 you fucking idiot. What a joke, he means I don't want to be number 2 and fight for number 1 spot, it should be given to me cause I played several times for Man Utd *picks up dummy*

Better keppers than him like Tim Flowers, Nigel Martyn and hell Ray Clemmings who spent large parts of there international spells as number 2's never threw their dummies out of the pram...God I missed when footballs had actual pro's in the games.

His performance against Bristol City was a bit clueless. He had some joy in the first few minutes which helped set up Robinson for his early chance, but after that their RB had him sussed. No right foot so always went on the outside - their RB read that every time Pearson took him on, which mean't that every subsequent time Pearson tried it he either lost the ball or ran it out of play. There was no plan B.

Foster's not a great keeper so this really doesn't bother me at all. Hart's number one and Carson will do as number two.

He hasn't quit, he's said he wants a break from international football. And as Angel says, he's not so fantastic anyway. If he was, he wouldn't play second fiddle to Tomasz Kuczscak and he'd be able to be a Manchester United goalkeeper, wouldn't he?

My worry is were down to Hart, Green, Carson and Stockdale who only plays a bitpart role at Fulham despite being very good.

Hart gets injured were left with 2 dodgy keepers and one decent one who never plays.

My view on this is fairly straight forward. If the worst came to the worst and Hart was injured for a length of time, then realistically anyone that we choose to replace him with is going to be doing well to make worse blunders than those already made by Carson and Green.

Besides, we've got some decent younger keepers in the U21s; Loach, Fielding or Steele - just promote one of them through to the senior squad and let them start getting the experience.

Foster's loss really doesn't bother me, if he'd been that great then he'd have gotten closer to securing the number 1 jersey before now.

^ I've never seen Loach have a good game, hes ridden with mistakes. I did like U21 old 2nd choice keeper, Joe Lewis he had some potential but hes still at Peterbrough I think...He can do better.

Looks like Van Nistlerooy has said he would join Spurs if they wanted him and it appears Harry is torn over him and Drogba (if Didier would gio anyway). If I was offer the choice between them two, I know who I would go for...

Van Nistlerooy, hes a goal machine no matter the age.

Well I think the future's fairly obvious - it'll be Fielding, especially as he's now moved to a proper football club......:techman:

I don't think he has much chance of PL football with Derby :p

I think Swansea will win tonight 2-1 and beat us 5-2 on agg because come the playoffs we concede a TRUCK LOAD of goals.

We've missed our chance to win, Swansea will take it at their ground.

    I'm sure it won't be Billy's fault...

Not over, but you'd think Swansea will have enough to win on their own ground. Never say never though.

    When do Cardiff/Reading play?

    ^ Tonight.

Alas, an all-new way for Forest to blow it. Swansea were all over them for the first half. There's always the chance they'll be tired from playing with ten men though. And didn't Borini do his hamstring?

Looking forward to next season already, I have to admit I actually am excited to see Liverpool next season because Kenny has them playing some decent football and have some very talented English kids coming through. Martin Kelly, John Flanagan and Jack Robinson all look very good plus I hear theres more to come. They look set to possible buy Jose Enrquie, Charlie Adams, Scotty Parker and Matt Jarvis who are better than people give credit for.

As for this season good bye West Ham and half thier squad, Grant's just been sacked. I think Chris Hughton will get the West Ham job and I hope Wigan/Blackpool go down just because then I would of gotten 2 out of right in my prediction last summer ;)

West Ham are terrible, they deserved to finish bottom. Bet the police will be looking forward to their games with Milwall next season!

I reckon Wigan may well stay up now - that's a confidence-booster, and surely Blackpool won't win at Old Trafford. If Wolves beat Blackburn and Spurs beat Birmingham, Wigan can stay up with a point. It's 2 from 5 to go though, and I cannot call it.

    Cue 2nd leg collaspe...

Swansea 3-1 Forest is my bet.

    EDIT - 2-0 down what a total shock :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

I can't believe Billy D playing McGoldrick and Moussi players prone to giving ball away and there doing just that. FOREST never learn they are a bunch of bottlers

Camp complaining that his view was impeded for the first goal by an offside Swansea player.....

Going to require a monumental effort now I think.
