Breaking In - New FOX Comedy - Christian Slater, Bret Harrison

Turning the peanut allergy into Sloth was genius. Didn't see that coming.

Also, did Rosenbaum just wear the Superman S before Welling did?

And remember that Sloth wore the "S" as well in Goonies. So they got a double in-joke out of the shirt.

I thought this was funny and I've never even seen Goonies. (...peanuts?)

I read somewhere that Oz has a "five year plan" for his company, something to do with world domination. If the writing would get focused on going somewhere, this could evolve into a worthwhile show.

Well whaddaya know. Christian Slater just can't catch a break huh? 3 failed shows back to back. 3 strikes and he's out.

Although, I wouldn't mind seeing a sequels to Kuffs, Pump up the Volume, and Gleaming the Cube.

not another one damn it, damn it, damn it !!!!!
@ admiral young agree with you fuck you fox tv

Count me in. I don't love Kuffs as much as the other two, so I might switch it out with a Legend of Billie Jean sequel.

I'll watch anything with Slater in it. I guess it's all because of Heathers, True Romance and the movies mentioned above. But it's not a very rewarding habit. Breaking In hasn't done much for me. There have been a couple movies I thought were okay over the years - He Was A Quiet Man (2007) comes to mind - but maybe I should have quit after watching Alone in the Dark in the theaters.

I foresee Slater either going back to movies or maybe he'll end up on a USA show like White Collar if that's still even on.

Rosenbaum while he is a funny guy in real life, he for some reason ends up in shlocky comedies like Kickin it Old School and Sorority Boys and now this show. Maybe try an partner up with real life friends Dax Shepard or Tom Arnold on something. He will be appearing in Dax's upcoming comedy mockumentry Brother Justice.

I don't know anything about the other guy.

Meanwhile, NBC renews Chuck which is even worse than Breaking In (for a different reason: the writers are good, just long since out of ideas) and has about half the rating. :rommie:

Yes, NBC is desperate but they were supposed to have a full slate of great pilots around now that would make them feel more confident. Ulp. How bad are their pilots anyway? The mind boggles!

And I don't want to see Slater, Harrison or Rosenbaum on any USA or CBS show - the Boredom Twins!

Just saw the latest ep. This show is so great. MR is such a goof but it is very funny...I hate that Cam & Melanie just brushed off what was said between them...but this is TV. :sigh: Cash & the time machine was a fun bit. FOX is stupid...another network should pick this up for real. :bolian:
