I'm going to predict how Smallville will end. No spoilers just the way it will end...
The "epic" fight between Clark and Darkseid will consist of Clark slo-mo/fast-mo running in with a big punch that will knock DS out of someone. Of course, since Clark can't win these battles on their own, Darkseid will prepare to strike a kill blow before Clark is rescued by Deus Ex Machina.
Later, Clark is ready to get married to Lois when Lana run in, telling Clark that she got rid of the kryptonite. Clark will superpush Lois into the next solar system and run towards Lana, giving her a passionate kiss. He'll get rid of the tux and change into the old red jacket and blue jeans. Clark and Lana will drive off in Clark's old jeep but instead of saying "Just Married!" it will read "No Flights! No Tights!" The theme song will kick in and to add insult to injury, we'll see Kara as Supergirl flying in the distance. The end.
