Now the big news of the day...

Katie Couric and ABC television are on the verge of signing a $20 million deal, which would give Katie her own talk show, as well as significant involvement in ABC News — and the big casualty could be General Hospital

Katie would do specials for ABC News, 20/20 and do a significant amount of fill-in work — including anchoring

ABC would also give Katie a 1-hour, 5-day-a-week syndicated talk show, that would begin in September, 2012. ABC is considering is giving its affiliates back the hour where General Hospital airs to make room

I don't like Katie Couric at all...I see nothing but fail coming from this. :borg:

I don't know her at all don't really do talk show's. and heah thanks for post raw results for monday any idea how justified season finale did? and how the new season of south park is doing?

South Park - 2.59 million & 1.4/4

Justified - 2.68 million & 0.9/2

Far as I know Justified is back next season.

I was told by a friend who watches Justified that it's already been renewed but I haven't personally seen that anywhere.

FX renewed Justified for a 13-episode third season at their upfront presentation in late March. They also renewed Archer for a third season.

I've been storing some shows for the summer. Two of them are Breaking In and Happy Endings.

From these ratings, it looks like Happy Endings isn't doing so good. Will it come back or should I just go ahead and delete?

What do we know about Breaking In?

Oh Mighty Ratings Swami, tell me the future....

No one really knows which way both those shows will fall, personally I would cancel them but Happy Endings/Breaking In are as 50/50 as you can get it seems.

Some very good comic acting talent is being wasted on mediocre writing. I'd rather see the show cancelled and the actors dispersed to other shows in the hopes that they'll land something more worthwhile.

Ratings-wise, I hope it gets cancelled to increase the odds FOX will pick up Alcatraz or Locke & Key (although dramas and comedies probably don't compete). It's on the knife-edge between cancel and renew.

Ratings stability is a point in its favor, but it's lack of creative juice doesn't bode well for its long-term prospects. It's coasting on its acting talent and how long can that keep the audience interested? FOX is having an iffy pilot season, but doesn't need to pick up a lot of new stuff, so it can afford to cancel a half-hour comedy and roll the dice with something new. I think they will.

If the sexy-teen-zombie premise is too goofy (and I can't see it working), they might decide Heavenly is compatible with Supernatural. Really, Supernatural is such an outlier for CW, it's hard for anything to match. Reaper was the only show they've done that I thought might have been a fit.
