Regardless of what you heard

Obama did not descend out of a helicopter and shoot Bin Laden in the face. The United States Military did.

What's actually going on here is the attempt to propagate as a meme a rather desperate talking point that some Righty talking heads launched early Monday: that the President has immodestly and improperly claimed more credit than he's due for "getting Bin Laden" and that this is characteristic of a kind of personal arrogance and egotism that they imagine that they see in him (something which men like Ronald Reagan are presumed to be above.).

And...it's all bullshit, far stupider and more dishonest than any claim that could possibly be made on Obama's behalf in this business. Stooges like Limbaugh simply figure that if they make the charge loudly enough, and enough dittoheads pick it up and repeat it, it'll stick.

Fuck that noise.

True. Over 90% of Americans give the military the lion's share of the credit and Obama hasn't said anything along the lines of "I did this". So anyone who thinks that they're "fighting the good fight" by taking to the intrawebs to protest this thing that isn't happening is just trying to keep Obama from getting any credit.

That of course means that they hate America.

More retarded bullshit from the right.

Obama gave the order, the mission succeeded on his watch. He gets the credit for that. The soldiers who actually pulled it off get the credit for actually, y'know, going in and shooting him dead. There is enough credit to go around, and at the end of the day you could realistically assign credit to dozens if not hundreds of individuals, without whom the mission would either not have occurred or would not have been a success.

But anyone accusing Obama of taking sole credit is obviously delusional.

The good thing is: Donald Trump can now do "Al Qaeda Apprentice". With Gary Busey.

That should keep Obama up at night.

I can't fit dozens or hundreds onto the chart, but I got the major ones out of the way, except for all the ones I missed.

But I feel confident that this will put an end to all debate on this subject:

Regarding kidneys... let's say Bin Laden would have been in perfect health. Would any of you have accepted organs "donated" by him?

Well, maybe an eye. Just the one, at least.

Eh, I don't care where the organs come from, as long as it works.

Are we operating on the principle that the organs would gradually posses you and turn you into a terrorist?

Yeah, suddenly you'd find yourself speaking... whatever language he spoke.

Is this why the PlayStation network has been down for weeks now?

Nah, that's a PS2 pad.

See, stuff like this is what keeps me posting here. :techman:

The beard, I would have accepted a beard transplant (although I wouldn't let it grow as long). Mine unfortunately isn't as thick.
