I noticed that Sisko did this absolutely VILE "a hee hee hee" high pitched laugh in season one. And yes now that you mention it his voice was higher.

Can't recall Picard though.

YES!!!!

I'm not insane, don't say anything, I noticed that years ago but everyone told me I was crazy.

I remember the laugh teacake is referring to, it was awful.

Picard's is less obvious but it is there. Maybe noticed more having just sat through entire TNG. But it could be down to recording changes. Brooks in full late-flow shakes the speakers when I have the volume up...
