Your favorite Trek quotes?

"Brag all you want! But don't get between me and the BloodWiiiinnne!!!"

"I know this ship like the back of my hand" -- Scotty, from Trek V

2 seconds before walking headfirst into an utility pipe and knocking himself flat out.

I also remembered this Amok Time quote:

"After a time, you may find that having is not so pleasing a thing after all as wanting. It is not logical... but it is often true."

I always remembered that quote for some reason, it was one of those deep classic Trek statements that stayed in the mind.

One of my favorite quotes is from "Star Trek - Generations":

"Normal is what everyone else is and you are not." - Soran

This is, I believe, the best definition of the word I have ever heard.

"I can not defeat this man. I can only kill him, and that no longer interests me."
-Ikat'ika, DS9's By Inferno's Light

Here are 2 more lines from my favorite Star Trek movie, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.

Kirk: You're a great one for logic. I'm a great one for rushing in where angels fear to tread. We're both extremists. Reality is probably somewhere in between.

A minute or 2 later in the scene...

Spock: Is it possible that we two, you and I, have grown so old and so inflexible that we have outlived our usefulness? Would that constitute a joke?

This is from my favorite Next Gen. epiosde Unification.

Spock: In your own way you are as stubborn as another captain of the Enterprise I once knew.
Picard: Then I'm in good company.

This is from the DS9 episode Bar Association.
Brunt's 2 Naussicans are throwing O'Brien and Bashir's darts at each other. Using each other for dart boards.

Quark: Doesn't that hurt?
Brunt: I suppose so. Most Naussican games do,

I just remembered that Scotty also has some great lines:

“Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.” from Friday's Child.

“Well, Captain, the Klingons called you, uh a tin-plated, overbearing, swaggering dictator with delusions of godhood.” from The Trouble With Tribbles.

“I'll sit on the warp engines myself and nurse them.” from That Which Survives.

“I find nothing interesting in the fact that we're about to blow up.” also from That Which Survives.

“Unless you people on the Bridge start taking showers with your clothes on, my engines can pull us out of anything.” from The Naked Time.

"The best diplomat I know is a fully activated phaser bank.” from A Taste of Armageddon.

You forgot some of Scotty's best lines.
From Star Trek V: The Final Frontier.
Scotty: How many times do I have to tell you? The right tool for the right job.
Scotty: Don't you worry, sir. We'll beat those Klingon devils, even if I have to get out and push.
Scotty: What are you standing around for? You not know a jailbreak when you see one?
Scotty: I know this ship like the back of my hand. (Bonk. Hits his head on a low hanging pipe and knocks himself out.):rommie::rofl::guffaw::lol:

Scotty: I know this ship like the back of my hand. (Bonk. Hits his head on a low hanging pipe and knocks himself out

My favorite also. Scotty was the best.

I've found that evil usually triumphs...unless good is very, very careful.

Omega Glory

Logic is a little bird tweeting in meadow; logic is a wreath of pretty flowers which ... smell bad.

There's been a LOT of awesome Trek quotes, but this is my favorite:

"In this galaxy there’s a mathematical probability of three million Earth-type planets. And in the universe, three million million galaxies like this. And in all that, and perhaps more...only one of each of us."
-Dr. McCoy, “Balance of Terror”

I love this one too.

Not just the quote but the way it was said by Roger C. Carmel.

Mudd: Don't you think you could possibly, mm, by accident, arrange to leave me behind here? On this planet. That would be punishment enough.

Jim: I can't do that, Harry. But I will appear as a character witness at your trial... if you think that'll help.

Mudd: They'll throw away the key!

I, Mudd

"Risk. Risk is our business. That's what this starship is all about. That's why we're aboard her."

--Kirk from "Return To Tomorrow.'

"We are the Borg, lower your shields and surrender your ships, we will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own, your culture will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile."
-The Borg, Star Trek: First Contact

"Perhaps today is a good day to die!"
-Worf, Star Trek: First Contact

"I had no idea we'd gone to warp until I looked out a window."

Riker to Picard, in the holodeck as Minuette explains the situation on the Binars' homeworld and the Binars' dedication to the fact there's only one of two answers in their culture, "you might've said 'no'."

Q: [of La Forge] Who does he think he is, giving me orders?

Lt. Cmdr. Data: Geordi thinks he is in command here - and he is correct.

Deja Q

"And I promise you, I will not rest, until I stand with you again...Here, in this place where I belong."

Ben Sisko, "A Call to Arms"

"It's about the journey, not the destination"

Harry Kim (yes, Harry Kim) "Endgame"

This is my favorite lines from Star Trek 4: The Voyage Home.

Kirk: You tricked me.
Gillian: You need me.
Sulu: Ready, sir.
Kirk(to Gillian): Take a seat.

I call ^^that^^ "small talk Star Trek style".
