I didn't know how to categorize these questions, and didn't want to spam the forum by starting a bunch of different threads, so I'm throwing a bunch of different stuff in here with a vague subject heading. :) That seemed like the best way to go from a list of imperfect options. ;)

1. Is there a place to get an extended month by month book schedule like the ones John Ordover used to post for the year ahead or Psi-Phi used to have in by-gone eras? I found those really helpful way back when. I see the one going a month or two ahead stickied to the top of the forum, I am talking about a more extended look ahead (Even if it's tentative and subject to change :) ).

2. Any good e-book series come out lately that are worth reading? I vaguely recall something about a 6 part TOS miniseries -- that may have been some years ago now. Maybe it was a 6-part non-TOS miniseries. Maybe it was a figment of my imagination. :) Anyone remember anything like that?

I got a Kindle as a gift some months back. I have to say I was skeptical of the e-book thing initially years ago, but it's reinvigorated my desire to read novels. If you haven't used one of those things, you might be surprised at how much difference being able to select a font size and having a modern clutter-free device makes. Less eye strain and less worrying about where to store books or where they've been stored past-tense makes reading a lot more relaxing an experience. It's like the way going from CDs to MP3/MP4s reinvigorated my enjoyment of music.

That's part of why I have all these questions. ;) Recently read Typhon Pact #1 and Titan #6 Star Trek wise to sort of get reengaged with Trek literature. Typhon Pact #2 and Myriad Universes #3 are in the "queue".

3. Is there some way to change my screen name on TrekBBS? This is one of the last places I'm using this handle, which goes back to my early days online. It's a little stale. ;)

Memory Beta has a list here.

That came out quite a while ago, and has actually been collected and published in hardcopy. There was a similar multi-part TNG eBook series that came out after that which chronicled the period between "Generations" and "First Contact," which has yet to be printed in hardcopy. There's also a new Typhon Pact eBook by Christopher L. Bennett, but that's only just been announced, so it won't be out for a while.

That would've been Star Trek: Mere Anarchy, which, as David cgc said, has been collected in trade paperback. There's also a 6-part TNG eBook miniseries, Slings and Arrows, which has not yet been collected but is still available electronically.

Thanks. :) That's exactly the sort of thing I had in mind.

Cool. Thanks. I'll search for them on amazon. :)

Is Slings and Arrows the eBook mini that takes place between "Generations" and "First Contact"? Or is this an entirely different e-series?
